WINDSURFING Next To Industrial HARBOUR

We went with the whole TWS training group to the nearby industrial harbour and used the flatwater behind its walls for our advantage. As we usually have wavy conditions down in El Medano these flatwater/choppy conditions make for a nice change for our training. That day was a lot of fun with tons of exciting moments. Hope you enjoyed the video!

Very nice video, more than liked. What is your thoughts on 85 wide board vs 91 ones ? Wouldnt it be better for medium to high winds ?

Thank you! Honestly I have not tried smaller than 91 for foiling but from speaking with other riders 81cm or 85cm is definetly better in strong winds. Soon I should be able to test my Fanatic 91 vs 81. There will probably be a comparison on my channel then :)
Hallo Michele, tolles Video Wäre super wenn Du Dein Foil Setup verraten könntest (Flügelgröße / Fuse / Backwingangel...) Habe auch einen Starboard Foil und suche immer noch nach der perfekten Abstimmung für stärkeren Wind....

Danke sehr! Ab 25 Knoten fahre ich 5.8 Segel mit 550 FW, 105+, 255-2 BW mit 0 Shim. Mit einer Segelgröße größer dann entweder hinten +0,5 einsetzen oder den Frontwing zu 650 wechseln.
Have you tried the Tail Wing 255 -2 THIN? Would you recommend it or did you want it with the normal 255 -2?

Hi, yes I have tried it because a lot of people said it is faster which I also felt but with smaller sails it felt more "slippery" so less controllable. In the end I was using the 255-2 thin for 8.9 sail to get a bit more speed when the wind is light but as soon as I went on 7.9 and smaller I have used the regular 255-2. Hope that helps. 🤙🏻

Das ist richtig aber vorallem auch einfach zum Trainieren. Im Rennen vermute ich, dass einige doch auf das gewohnte Finnensetup setzen werden bei Medium/Stark-Wind. Könnte mich aber auch irren :D
