Ikr bro!! They are so fucking good, tight musically and have that hardcore energy about them. Metal gatekeepers probably still whine about deathcore not being metal. These guys are doing literally what death metal was in 1990, but better I mean they're still in standard tuning ffs and listen to those guitar melodies with those slimy riffs, addictive. Those wankers are probably still mad that their product of metal got really stale and boring and uninspired and way less interesting to what it once was. Deathcore bands revive that and give it a completely different energy. Yes there's some generic boring shit in the genre too, but Winds of Plague are far from boring and make their sound interesting.

Not everybody argues about genres to be elitist-some ppl would like to know exactly where to look if they were to go buy the album. You sure as hell wouldn't find it in the pop section, so cut some slack ppl-haven't you ever been frustrated trying to find something that has been mislabeled in a music store? I used to hate having to go through practically every tape in every genre bcuz there weren't any sub-genres. Knowing what it's classified under makes it way easier to find! (Although I never buy them anymore bcuz I don't have a CD or tape player, other ppl still do!) And even if you don't like it, knowing what sub-genre it is helps you stay away from what you dislike. Matter of perception I guess!

Your really comparing this frontman to Fred Durst? You may have too many drugs OR braindead from too much pit action.Either way take a break before your a drooling vegetable.

2000's had all the great deathcore Ever since 2010 and above, deathcore began getting generic :/

+Stop, Drop, Do A Barrel Roll (Over9000Turtles) there are bands that came out around 2010 that are still keeping deathcore alive, but it was the 2000's that had it all

The reason the 2000's had all the great deathcore was simply because it emerged from it's early stages of shit production quality and manifested into the golden age where deathcore was still new yet more refined. It was still relatively new to people during the 2000's that's why it was so exciting and dark. It explored a part of death metal and hardcore never been explored before. It was fresh and new at the time. And I have no idea what you're talking about but there are plenty of great deathcore bands out there. And the production quality of deathcore in the modern day an age are superb. I think you're just bored of deathcore or maybe it was a phase for you.

+1nfuzion not at all. i just feel like a lot of the creativity was lost, meaning that most new comers are just carbon copies. also, breakdowns are being overused now and the passion to create something original is obsolete.
