Just got a new Win 11 and so far it's doing great. Takes a little getting used to, but a new machine is a blessing although there are things I miss about my old Win 10 which I still plan to see and keep updates. Thanks for sticking with us through all this. 😊
GREAT info as always ! Thanks 4 this. See U on the next one. Happy 2023 ! Cheers !
I found that KB4023057 is actually Microsoft Update Health Tools.
I’m a Mac guy, but I keep a wi does machine running in the closet that I remote access into when I need to run windows only software. So if I sound clueless, it’s because I’m not a power windows user. So I believe I used Rufus to make a bootable usb of a fresh windows install disc. Then ran a script to turn off the hardware checks. Using a program like Rufus to make an install usb sets up the install to disallow security updates ??? I’m confused. Please elaborate.
Figured something like that happen.
I installed win11 on i5 7th gen. On the surface it worked kinda ok but in the long run it started lagging. If ms is saying it's not recommended they probably have a good reason.

Microsoft wants you to buy new computer with Windows 11 pre-installed. It all about making money. I'm still using Windows 7. It is not recommended to install Windows 11 on an unsupported computer..Even if you are successful in installing Windows 11 on an unsupported computer. Down the road you will have problems with it. With limitations and updates, etc..Microsoft knew what they were doing, when they announced that all computers would not be compatible with Windows11.. Believe that announcement.
I Didn't Think That I Would Like Windows 11 But I Bought A New Computer Last November To Do Video Editing (I Wish That I Had Explored My Desission More Before Purchasing) But The Computer, (12th Gen. Intel Core i7-1200f 2100 Mhz 12 core 20 processors) Came With Windows 11 After Navigating Windows 11 For A Month I Come To Like It Better Than Windows 10
Do you recommend installing it directly from Microsoft and getting the Unsuportted install or doing the Bypass and doing a install via Rufus?
