@@gabrielalejandro2035 Your KZread screen flicker is likely caused instead by inadequate or improperly configured video resources, and/or the transmission rate of your internet connection. The author is meaning to refer to "flashing" Taskbar objects - which is instead an OS software issue. If your system was a desktop, you might be able to upgrade your video card. Possibly not on a laptop. But that wouldn't solve your problem if your transmission rate is inadequate.

After 7 years your video still helps me. I have taken my PC for repair because I thought the screen is faulty, after spending a lot of money to re-fix the screen the issue still persists.😭 I was completely frustrated until I see this video and the first solution solves my problem. Thank you very much

Got rid of this problem about a year ago. Just had a windows update a couple days ago and problem came back. Using the information in this video (disabling 2 services) made it stop again

Windows is a complex piece of software. If they patch every little problem people have, it WILL create a lot more problems; some sooner, some later. The simple answer is that, unless a majority of people are having a problem, they're not likely to fix it. The main reasons are, most people won't notice or care (or even worse, it might worsen their experience); it costs money to fix bugs; and like I typed above: fixing one problem might lead to more problems down the road.

It works! Mine was the windows error reporting. It has been a few days already that my screen looks weird. And today my screen changed color so badly the wallpaper was super fuzzy. After unchecking the windows error reporting the screen came back in good shape immediately. You are the BEST! Thanks bro and stay safe everyone.

After spending over two years trying to find out what was causing my flickering screen, I finally stumbled on this KZread site. It worked!!!! and another problem was turning on HDR which my new TV supports. Previously I had to turn this off as the flickering was twice as bad. I'm running Windows 8 but your approach seems to have worked anyway. I did the reporting service trick - then it flashed black once and then stopped it. So thank you.

To my surprise this is 1 of the few (and in my case the first one i could find) vids that actually adress this particular webcam screen flicker error, tho havn't tried if this works or not yet. Always thought more people would've had this issue, tho my assumptions were -like they usually are in my case- wrong once again. That said, let's actually try and see if it works. If this is my first and last comment, it means it worked for me and i'll keep you posted if it didn't. Anyway, just for the effort alone i thank you and give a thumbs up to show my appreciation!

I don't have iCloud, I have both of those services stopped, but still sometimes the screen flashes. But it flashes in weird way - not the entire screen, but like just the bottom part of it and it is in slightly bluish color. The flashing happens once in 5 - 10 minutes. It started after Creator's Update. I'm not sure what's going on and how to fix it.

I don't know how to thank you. A few weeks ago I downloaded ICloud and then a few days after downloading it, my screen started flickering. I didn't know if it was any other app I downloaded by accident so i deleted every app I installed in the past few weeks. But now thanks to you I know it was ICloud all along! :))

Jaspal Mehra bro format it thats only the way because virus has infected on ur pc scan for malwarebytes ( adblocker virus ) format it into windows 7 so that these errors will not come if virus is infected also . If ur looking for more speed for bootup and shutdown go for 8.1 or 10 but they will show errors like this if we remove the virus also the error continues.. only the way formait it into windows 7 and install malwarebytes pro and kaspersky total security put adblocker on google chrome

I understand the screen keep flickering on the laptop. Don't worry I'll try to help you out. Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC? Were there any physical damages on your PC? Does the issue persist in BIOS? Excellent description and a great diagnosis done. It is greatly appreciated. Try performing a hard reset on the PC and check if it helps. Turn off the computer. Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station. Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers. Unplug the AC adapter from the computer. Remove the battery from the battery compartment. With the battery and power cord unplugged, press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual electrical charge from the capacitors. Insert the battery and plug the AC adapter back into the laptop, but do not connect any of the peripheral devices. Press the Power button to turn on the computer. I've tried all the solutions almost, written and video. It's not just a couple of things, it can be a lot of programs, and if you have a long list, you're scr**ed 10 SUCKS !!
