As said in this video, I switched off three times and started in advanced setting mode and fixed the issue. Mine is HP AMD laptop. Faced this problem when I upgraded the driver. Screen keeps flashing off and on in the laptop desktop screen. Thank you for the solution.

Brother please reply to my comment: I installed intel driver and assistant and updated my driver after restarting my screen was flickering so in safe mode it was okay so how can i unistall that certain driver update

so my laptop first started acting up weird when i started it up by beeping then it went to flickering now its completely off but works on second monitor what is the issue?

Bro basically I was factory resetting my laptop and it got stuck on 14% for hours i barely had that many files on it so i put my finger on the power button and held it there till it turned off then i turned it back on and i cant remember what else was on it it just kept making have to fix (diagnose) my laptop and it failed to do that so i went and pressed advanced and continued to reset it then the resetting failed. I turned it off on that to reboot it and the screen started blinking on and off non stop and its on so i dont know, did i just lose my laptop or is there something i can do?

Here's an update of what's going on: Basically I had a technician look at it and they said the hard drive is completely corrupt so I can get it fixed but I pretty much expected to be able to do a quick home no tool fix but I guess it is what it is

Thank you first method worked for me when it was flickering I thought it was just bugging again so I just restarted but it persisted but doing the first option made it go away
