Same here. Took delivery of a new car last night and they had tinted the windows that day. On way home on interstate I was having trouble seeing out rear window with headlights looking distorted, especially around the defroster wires. I texted salesman in a huff about how it needed to be redone, and he assured me it would go away in a couple weeks. Google search later and I'm here and feeling a little better.

I just picked up my car from tints last night (after waiting 5 hours POST appointment) and was super concerned maybe they rushed it, as I was seeing a million tiny tiny bubbles inside the tint. Really glad to know they’re probably just water bubbles. Also he told me I could roll down my windows next morning! Glad I watched this first

Same bro.since I tinted over tint it voids warrenty & noticed bubbles soon after. I was Extremely heated thi king they rushed it since they were closing soon.

Does it cost more to change the percentage of a tint say from 35% to 15%? Is it the lower number the higher the price?

@@theluxlyfe Most shops charge same for all %. However, some shops may have to order the film ahead of time if they dont regularlly carry it. Like the place I went to didnt carry 35% ceramic. So that had to be ordered, so I had to pay upfront.

Just had my car tinted 4 days ago. I do have some of those golf ball dimples on my passenger window. How long should I wait to see if they go away before concating the shop? The weather has been sunny and nice.

I recently had ceramic window tint installed on the windshield, exactly one week ago, but notice a water bubble. Is it normal, or should I bring it back to the shop? How long to cure, thanks!

Like your videos quick question how about if the tint shows a lot of the glue around the edge is that fixable? Thank you in advance

This was a great video. I have a car that cane with tint thats been there a decade it mustve been a hell of a job cause there was never any peeling or pin holes. So when i got my other car tinted i was worried since there were pin holes. I am going to get it checked in cause theres def more than 2% and there some bubbles that look like they got worse. For high end tint shops can they guarantee no pin holes?

Not sure what you're referring to as pin holes--not really a term I've heard used in tinting so I can't say. It's extremely challenging for any shop to guarantee < 2%

​@EVSMotors my bad i misheard ya i was referring to the dust specs i thought you said pin hole but you said pin like dots. But i see maybe over time they go away but one of my cars doesnt have any but i was glad this video cleared up they arent harmful to the car if there is any

Can I ask a question? I had 25% ceramic installed 5 days ago. As time has passed small white bubble are appearing. Is it bad if they are white? They are probably a tad smaller than a golf ball dimple. There are a few on each window and quite a few on the back windshield, maybe 20 or so. Do you think these will go away over time or does the fact that they are white tell you it’s contamination? Appreciate this video and I can see others do too!! Thank you.

Keep an eye on them and see if they go away after 1-2 weeks. They can be moisture that'll evaporate but hard to know without seeing

Just got mine tinted. When I looked out my window It was blurry.

I saw the water bubbles on my windows but was told to gibe it 3 - 5 days. Its the dust specks that had me wondering and in some windows you can see a white spots from the outside. I am not happy about this. but you say thats normal. I am now going to check every car i see and inspect it.

@@lamakina360 I’m waiting til next week then I’m going back. I look at cars everywhere and I don’t see those white bubbles and specks. It’s annoying. Dude said 3-4 hrs for the job and he had my car for 8 and I had to Uber all day. For that long it should’ve been perfect! 😠

I also waited for a while and then those white bubbles bother me, I did it 3 days ago I plan to wait 7 days to see if there are changes, how many days do you have with your Windows tint at this moment to know if you have had a change in the white bubbles

@@lamakina360 it’s been exactly 2 weeks today. It’s been raining a lot so I’m waiting for a clear day to clean them and really check. Those water bubbles went away . But those small clusters, and white spots from the outside didn’t and don’t look good. Looks like I did it lol. I’ll see what he says

Hi, question I had my windows tint and he didn't do such a good job and also I pointed out and asked about the color when the sun hits the tint when I open my door it looks kinda rainbow or kinda like an oil slick when you drop water on oil and it turns into pink purples colors. Well I asked if it was normal he said he couldn't see it but then he did and said no he would have to change the tint. So is that rainbow looking color normal? Or no? You can only see it through the inside when the sun reflects on the window not on the outside. Thanks!

I have some dust specs on my front windshield that are decent sized. Not tiny like the one you showed in the video so it must be a larger piece of dust. There is a cluster of them all together in an area that’s roughly 1”x5”. Should I take this back or does this sound acceptable?

that might be the best your shop was able to do

I just picked up my truck from being tinted, I wanted the front to match the rear windows. What I got is WAY darker and bluish vs a brownish tint on the back windows, you don’t notice so much from outside but inside it almost looks like the rears are clear now. I went back to talk to the guy that did it but he said it will lighten when they dry. I’m really concerned that I’m being lied to … is this common?

I've never seen tint lighten up lol...assuming you're referring to your factory dark glass on your truck, there's no actual tint on those windows, so chances to match them are a lot harder (tinted windows vs dark factory glass).

When can you clean your windows after they get tinted with ceramic?

What about haze? I can only see it when you look on the outside of the window? When I put my nail to it it goes down but then comes back up. Just got the tint fixed today after a bad install.

@@84848AR yea man if you just got the tint today or yesterday it’s normal, what I did was put a heated fan on the outside of my window until the haze went away just don’t put too much heat But if it’s been longer then 3 days you should get it checked ouy

After your car is tinted. Do I park the car in the garage until it cures ? Or do I leave it out for sun to dry up the tint ?

typically that just leads to melting

So what's good when you actually park your car out in the sun it dries quicker or does that even matter I'm in Cali so right now sunny days

I'm not sure what you mean by that because blurriness can mean different things with tinting, especially without seeing it. Best to ask the shop who did it or if you don't trust them, maybe get another local shop's second opinion.
