This will be my 24th Christmas alone so I thank you for not only taking the time to do videos like this but also acknowledge that not everyone has a massive family, countless friends and/or people to spend the holiday season with. I love seeing what you get up to in such a picturesque location as I - like a lot of people - live in a 'concrete jungle' of a town with no gorgeous scenery around me to give a romanticised view of this time of year. Can't wait to watch each day! x

Happy vlogmas Morgan. I loved the animation! To Kelly: thank you for your message. A couple of years ago I decided that the best thing for me would be to celebrate Christmas on my own. For different reasons. I think this will be my 4th year. I don't know how the future will look, but for now this is the right thing for me. So I thought I would share with you how I spend Christmas. I don't know if it will be helpful for you but I want to offer it anyway. I have one rule: my physical and mental health come first. Here in Denmark we do it a little differently than in the US. We celebrate on Christmas Eve. I am one of those people who wake up early on Christmas because I am too excited 😆So I turn on the Christmas lights and candles and have a lazy morning with a book or a movie or youtube. If it has snowed I will probably go for a walk. I basically do whatever I feel like doing. Reading, doing a puzzle, take a nap, whatever. When my mum was alive we would do a Skype call in the daytime and open presents together (she lived in another country), but now I make quick phone calls with my dad and my brother. In the afternoon it is time for me to get dressed IF I feel up for it. If I am unwell, PJs are fine. Here in DK there's a Disney holiday special on TV every year in the afternoon so I am usually dressed by then and ready to watch that and sing along. After that I prepare the food. I am not doing the big traditional Christmas meal. I do a simple version of it. Everything just have to either go in the oven or heat up in a pan. This way I am able to get the taste of Christmas even if I am having a bad day physically or mentally. I even buy the gravy so I only have to heat it. I set the table so it looks nice and festive and I watch a movie while eating. After dinner it is time for presents. I buy myself a Christmas present every year. I wrap it and everything. Because I love getting presents. So it is not because I feel like I have to, but because I love it. The rest of the evening is just relaxing and, again, doing whatever I feel like. All the things I choose to do this day is for me and only if I feel like it. It is not the same as the traditional family holiday. It is different. And sometimes it hurts. But to me, it is better. My situation may be very different from yours, but maybe some of this will be relevant for you or someone else. I hope you will be alright through this Holiday season. And as you said: you are not alone. Take care

You truly are my friend and a friend that has gotten me through many lonely times. I'm my partially paralyzed husbands 100% caregiver and need to be 'carried away' to normal things. Christmas Vacation is my favorite movie of all time!!! My town, Oroville CA. is going to play it on the big screen of our town's State Theatre (an old Oroville landmark) next week and I'm so EXCITED!!!!! I am so grateful you’ve decided to do these Vlogmass videos. It’s an amazing gift you’re giving us. This time of year so many KZreadrs take time off to be with family and most of my friends fly home for the holidays making the season incredibly lonely for me which is hard because I love Christmas and everything that goes with it. But this is like a friend who sends a little postcard each day adding a bit of magic back in.

Dear Morgan! I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart! I found you in the spring of 2020 and you inspired me to start a youtube channel a few months later. You gave me some advice when I asked you and really helped me to believe in me when I felt very unsure about it. Today I reached 300 subscribers and that made me really happy. I have no strategy or plans for my KZread channel, I rather want to capture glimmers of my life and if people enjoy it, I am happy there are following along. It has been such a fun hobby and I even started enjoying editing more than before. I always liked that you don't push people to subscribe, to do certain things or buy something they don't need. You have always been a very warm, kind and loving person and it is no wonder so many people love to watch your videos. It's like snuggling under a blanket with a cup of tea. I just started watching your videos back from 2019 and they were already precious at that time. I have been watching your vlogmas videos this year and I am a bit behind (only on day 9) but I wanted to leave comments for the ones I've already seen. This vlog was such a joy to watch! I love tree lightings. Our town used to do one but they had to cut down the tree since it was too old and dying and it's been so sad to not have that anymore. It was so much fun to see the shops and the Christmas adventures that you had with your friends. And their home is so festive and beautiful!
