Those bars on the rear tires of the Euc are for clearing rocks stuck between the tires. Cool place. Would love to hear that Euc run again!

What cool spot! All the neat old junk. The grill surround on the 352 looks great led pretty descent. There is an antique Mack log truck, owned by a gentleman in Oregon, that is at some ATHS shows out here that has a 6-110T in it. Very cool piece!

Pontiac, mid 70s like a Catalina or Cam Am.
Junkyards that have the really old or industrial equipment are where I can spend days just crawling around and checking out all the different ways that they did the same things. Appreciate the ride along, imagine how much weight was in back of the off road unit just in water it holding now. Surprised it hadn't sunk into the ground it's sitting on with the combined weight of the trunk, and the water.

Uncle Wayno is back in action!
Pretty neat. The old style is pretty cool. Wayne, you need that 6-110👌🏻🤘🏻
I always thought that the Autocars were the most awesome trucks. I ran big wreckers for an old man when I was in my early 20’s. He had an old Autocar wrecker that was an absolute beast. It beat you senseless but always do the job and make it look easy.

I drove an old 72 Awfulcar wrecker with a Holmes 750 on it many many years ago. The owner of the tow company bought brand new and drove it straight to Holmes to have the wrecker put on it. The truck had a 350 Cummins in it with an 18 speed, 3 stage Jake, and I kid you not it came from Autocar with 5 inch straight pipes which just cleared the cab by maybe eight inches. You could hear that truck from miles away and probably from the next state when going down a grade and turned the Jake on. Even back in my late 20’s early 30’s I would wear ear plugs when driving that truck because it was so obnoxiously loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. Seriously this was the first tuck that I ever wanted to have mufflers installed on and that’s saying something because I normally would toss a couple of D cell batteries down the stacks of trucks I drove to eat the mufflers out from the inside (it was not very kind to the elbows but I didn’t care back then because it wasn’t my truck if you know what I mean). Regardless of it’s annoyingly loud voice the track was an absolute beast that despite being able to tell if a dime was heads or tails thanks to stack of springs that looked like was built a truck repair shop in Palestine it was fun to drive.
That Mt Vernon truck and the yellow Autocar have the look for sure. Guess some old timer finally kicked it and his "collection" went to the scrap man.
Man. This is making me want to watch maximum overdrive.
Snag the shift knob from the cabover in case, you know.., you break it again... Personally, I would try to get those 2 autocar's and rebuild one out of the 2. you dont see autocar anymore.
Places like this brings back childhood memories. When I was a kid, we used to go to a local scrapyard here in Norway and look at old trucks and excavators. To this day, whenever I see an old truck I just have to go and smell it. I just love that smell😂
I know of another 359 that might be up for grabs come the new year

The rod between duals was to pick the rocks out. I gotta run one of these for a day in Petaluma that my friend Glen owned... SO LOUD AND HOT!!!!!

Bars between tires keep the rocks out when they get jammed between tires. Pops them out
Wow Wayne, Cool trip. Nice, gentle old Dinasours❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The bars hanging between the drive tires on the euclid are to keep rocks from jamming between the tires
Pretty awesome trucks though! Too bad they're just rotting away now.
Those are rock blades in case a rock gets stuck between the tires that blade would extract it!

Glad it was just window shopping 🤣 that screen door on the cabover gets me every time 😍
Love seeing these old trucks
Great video love seeing old iron and loved the cut from boondocks Saints great movies thanks for sharing
Great content and Wayne, just love old trucks
They are putting the good stuff aside in that little area in that place. Thanks and take care.
Hellow wayne good to see you buddy
1674 Caterpillar was the precursor to the 3306 block. It’s a medium duty DOHC engine
That Euclid is a definite 'will it start' candidate, 😊
Love the cabovers for sure !
There was a Cummins 504 model which was about 185 to 210 hp
Neat scrap yard, lots of old trucks, looks like a source for parts. I remember seeing some Euclid dump trucks working here in Virginia, but that would have been in the early to mid 1970's, a little before your time.
That would be some nice trucks to find a new a frame and throw the cabs on
Found a 1 owner 1979 352 with a 8v92t. 256k original miles parked in a building since 1985

I LOVE them Titan 90s!!! And the Astro 95s of course. I've never seen or heard of a 6-110! What a stump puller that old SOB must have been, huh...
Man you find some of the coolest stuff! Awesome video!
Sweet video as always brother
That end dump looked like an old fruehaufgh. Haliburton had a bunch of them, had 4-53 detroits running a wet kit on the front of the frame. Used them to haul frac sand for really small jobs, they spent more time sitting than actual use. Probably be easy to put back in service.
Can you imagine running that ol Chevy cross country no ac. Am radio no luxury what so ever .that little dump trailer was so Kool .look good all painted up sett of good looking bud wheels .all lighted up .great video as always .
Oh shit man that sweet sweet sound ❤❤❤
I learned to drive on trucks like these! Why my old body hurts so bad today, the beatings I took driving these old beasts! Would not change a thing, though! Climbing up in the cab, pulling the compression release, getting her to spin fast enough, then shoving the compression release back in, hearing that old 250 Cummins bark to life! Wow! Seeing the flame shooting out of the stack on a early morning, just before sunrise, pulling the hill leaving the refinery on the river! Wow!
That W Sac DMV is handy, that only deals with commercial DMV stuff. Just need to get there early. DOT loves to “hang out” on Grant line in Elk Grove to catch all trucks over 65’ cutting off of HWY99 and sometimes you catch them on Hazel/Sierra College waiting for them dang loggers 😂. You learn their hideouts. 😂😂
Keeps the large rocks from getting stuck between the duals. On that Euclid dump.
I remember seeing a gorgeous blue and silver Titan with a matching 28ft end dump in my town. Used to see it during harvest hauling sugar beets. Farmer took exceptional care of it. Chevy’s heavy trucks went away in 1980…random factoid
If youre talking about the bar hanging down between the tandems, its a rock kicker to dislodge rocks that tend to get stuck periodically while driving in rock quarries.
What a find
OK. Yesterday I went to U-Pull-&-Pray to get a single spark plug wire for my buddy's F150 with a #4 misfire code, and caught myself saying "it's good enough for who it's for," while crawling on top of an engine and fishing the wires out. There's oil in his #4 plug well too, so I got four used wires...😁 Today I did bodywork all day, and life was harder because I was stupid, several times!

Dude..... you need that 6-110
Hope your Tetanus shots are up to date!. I love the old peterbilt cabover with a lot of time and money it could look good again
Lot of old stuff there. Those old b42 Macks were like big cows. They were built strong so You could pull and push on them and they take it. The little International loadstar 1800s would work circles around the Macks. There are a couple transtar 4200 projects in Your neck of the woods.
Cool stuff
Metal strips hanging between the tires are for knocking out rocks that get wedged in between the tires to stop them from destroying the tires
Love this video Wayne, my heart is broken over that titan/90 my fave truck of all. I know you would have dragged her home if there was enough there to save my bro! Keep up the awesome work!

Ford made Big Red with a turbine too.
@17:28 those are mid 70s Pontiac headlights like on a Catalina or a Can Am. Buford T. Justice's gold Pontiac Enforcer had them too on the first Smokey and the Bandit.
V504 Cummins Basically A Non Turbo VT190hp Cummins Which At A Guess Would Be 150hp NA
You need the trailer! 😂
I think you show that screen door grill cause you know it erks me 😂🤣😂🤣😂
That orange B-61 looks like a ENDT, mack motor
That dump trailer should be at your house. Wet kit on the cabover and it’s the perfect setup for earning beer money carting the odd load of road base out of the local quarry

@@Ol2Stroker if you pay the right price for it you can’t really loose on it. It might cost you parts, you’ll get that back selling it sorted or by using it. You might loose out on time spent on repairs and getting it up to scratch but subs etc cover that.
That Brockway deserves better than to be in the scrap yard. A lot of them had structural wood in the cab which is why the doors would fall off. That one may be all steel. All those trucks are pretty beat but a lot of good parts and I bet half or more would fire up with some tinkering.
Bu bu but What about your CAT truck?
Needs a little help, but Wayne oh can handle it
Some cool stuff there, though most of it's only good for nostalgia purposes, taking a walk back in time.
That Euclid is badass would be cool if it was restored.
Damn!!! I was scrolling through all your past videos and found one I didn't watch.
the thing between the duals is a simple bar tae take out rocks so they won't puncture the tires or get grenaded intae somebody behind while driving.
To much old cool trucks 😮
The rears in the blue peterbilt are a Qar in the rear rear an a sqhp or Qd100 in the front rear. Imo not good rears very week the input shafts always snapped on the Qd100. I like Eaton Ds402, Rs402 tougher an better diff.
I wish I could get the dash vents and duct work out of that 352. I need it for MY 78 352
It would still ran with your help
Wayne ... You Have Room To Take Them All Home LOL with the Uclid ... ya can move your front yard to the back yard & vise versa

17:33 headlights from a Peterbuilt came with single Circle bulbs
Chevy Titan 95, same as GMC Astro . ,,, the inline 6, Detroit 110, was usually found in single car rail-car commuter trains . Sometimes with a centrifugal blower, instead of a Roots . If Diesel over electric, the RPM constant makes sense . ,, , btw. Dayton hubs and split rims, don't punish yourself .
What was that household breaker or switch box on the back corner of the Brockway all about?
Anytime I see an Autocar I immediately think about Over The Top with Stallone, when I was a kid and saw the movie I thought that the White Volvo truck he was trying to win wasn't anywhere near as cool besides having a sleeper.
Did you steel that grill cover off my grandmas screen door?

Gosh man I hope she gets restored , I love old Euclid equipment , they started my Detroit diesel disease 😉 all the best from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Take a Mack cab home and toss it on the Race truck frame. Just imagine............
There's no way Id be leaving there without the Euclid
pete love to safe her
there was a Cummins 555
Those Auto Cars are sweet... at minimum the gauges and Engines (rebuilt) would be worth the cash on the barrel
👍
Pop off all those dogs on the hood sides there worth a bit they can be rechromed and there a lot of collectors looking for them
Where is the yard nice
