Good video Darren, I'm from Notts myself, very close to derby. lol. Just set up a new removal company and was looking at something like this. 1 question though. What do they charge? I have just found one online that charge 1.5% on like a pay as you go on each transaction? Is this good value? because I was also thinking about giving a few % to a charity as well? Hi, is it compatable with all phones? Im having trouble using SumUp card reader on Samsung 10 phone as it keeps freezing and powering off.

This is one of the most professional videos I have seen brilliant I do have a question are you able to pay this directly with PayPal without having to send money to a bank account? Do you know of any transaction devices that enable this

If you use the Paypal card reader it goes to your Paypal account balance and not your bank balance.

@@Darren-Green thank you very much I did some extra research and apparently you need a PayPal business account. You just need to convert your standard account to a business account but I'm not sure if I want to do that.

@@AwesomeMetalBands I think that's right but also the requirements for a PP business account aren't that strict as I recall.

Do you charge the customer extra for card payments to cover your fees? Ive been debating on getting one myself for a while now.

No, the fees are so minimal. We only use it for high value jobs and bad debt collecting not the regular monthly collections

Use it for larger items like gutters etc

Did they offer u an advance?

Does the money go into a izettle account like PayPal or can you have it go straight to a current account?

It goes into your business account within 1 to 2 business days but you can check with iZettle to make sure

Yes 1 -2 days is about right I think, never really noticed, seems to be faster but I think they put 1 - 2 days to cover themselves incase of downtimes etc.

How do you record the payments coming through? For example client pays £20, what would that show up as as a receipt of pay on the app? Would it just show the date of payment and £20? Just wondering for my records, hope you see this :)

Shiws customer name date and ammount. However I instantly mark it on my phone with cleaner planner.

I honestly do not know as we switched to GoCardless some time back. You will need to check each card readers terms to see best offers.

How will you receive the customer’s payment? Will you receive it directly into your bank account or In your paypal account?

It's never taken more than an hour for ours to confirm payment. However... Even if it were to take 2 days that's still better than having to come back time after time hoping that the customer has cash this time.

I had a shop one complete rip off. I got fined if I didn’t do a data protection thing. I also had to pay for this. I had to hire the machine and wait 3 days for the money to clear. Never again. These are the best way. I’m getting one for the odd market. So if I don’t use it one month I’ve nothing to pay on it.
