Hey Mr Hal, Did someone forget about swinging wide when pulling out of that there driveway? Good job on the recovery, I take it that was diesel fuel that was spilled on the ground, was it from the sharp angle the truck was on or did the fuel tank get damaged? you are correct about there not being many good places to hook on a hopper bottom. that was one heak of a steep ditch that had to be a real pucker moment for that driver when the trailer fell off in there.

I agree. Mud flaps work great also. Its hard not to damage asphalt. Tires and mud flaps work good for both traction and preventing damage.@@glennjukes5581

Is that combination within the legal limits in your area? With 1000 bushels it would be 20 tonnes ( 22 tons) which be a full load with a tandem tractor and the trailer? What about the trailer tires? Thanks.
