Winchester Hotchkiss Restoration - Part 2 (Small Wood Repair and Assembly)
This is the second part of this budget-restricted restoration! The main goal was to make this Winchester look good in a reasonable amount of time. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Does it look better than before?

@@MastersOfCraftOfficial You're very welcome
Repairing/restoring something like this while maintaining the period appropriate appearance is extremely difficult. You did an amazing job with it and I love watching you do your thing on this channel. Thanks for the excellent vid!
One of the first Us bolt rifles, which were not so popular there and then, but set the path for more to come.
Andre, Thank you very much for sharing your great labor of love craftsmanship. Have a blessed week.

@@MastersOfCraftOfficial kinda figured it worked that way what with you dabbling with the evil iron and all.

Great work my dude! Looking foreword to your next video.
Tip.... White vinegar removes wet epoxy without harsh chemicals that will hurt the finish . Good for cleaning hands too

You have to test it
what is the yellow/gold stuff that you put on the metal parts before boiling them to get the rust blue?
Andre, I am assuming you are in Europe, but I was wondering how you come across so many old American guns?
You really should re-blue that rifle :)
Andre is there somewhere I can get in contact with you about a possible restoration? Got a couple of cool guns like an Evans repeater and a Colt Lightning pistol. Thanks!
Where have you been for so long?
