Nothing can make me dislike what comes out of Toms mouth - people don't realize reality anymore and we have a true philosopher of our time here who can bring a point about topics no one is open to handle conversing in a professional demeanor. Whether you agree or disagree on some points - congrats to those who can handle being in disagreement with a point of view and not shut your ears off bc theres something you didn't like. People have forgotten this very important skill. No one is ever going to be 100% same page as you

During his debate with Matt Dillahunty, he claimed that there are no such things as artists or poets that are atheists, they believe in god they just don't know it. His fundamental views are ridded with inconsistencies. The psychology advice is sort of ok if you don't have a paternal figure, but we are meant to outgrow our parents not blindly follow their "12 rules for life" their "10 commandments" their "manifestos" for the rest of our lives, it isn't offering guidance to find your own path but rather a path, a program, it is someone else's path.

He says he is only smart enough to know how smart he isn't, or something a long those lines, but I think he is exceeding that definition of late.

Great Video. Here I wrote this in 2019: My Elephant My elephant doesn’t always listen Sometimes it only hears the sound of the rain I attempt to move him to change direction But I think his mind has a predilection I have traveled many roles on the back of my elephant But I have yet to learn why for many of his selections Occasionally he does what I ask I’m never sure whether it’s my or his own task One day I decided to stop trying solely And cooperate with my elephant wholly To do this I was told quite sternly To ask my elephant Yet when I tried I don’t think he heard me He stood silent and quite ignored me As I sat there waiting for my answer I heard a stir in the air like a murmur or patter Then I felt on my head a drop Of rain from above landing with a plop Soon there was another and suddenly a pour Rain fell around me and on me seemed more I continued to sit still waiting Like after a knock you just made on a door But all I could hear was the sound of the raining For my elephant I no longer felt such disdaining So both there I sat and he stood To both of us together the rain sounded good The elephant simply wanted to be understood I knew right then he would help if he could His job was not to take me wherever I wanted But protect me from those places that were haunted And by standing he was telling me I shouldn’t go I had been thinking he was always just stubborn so Who is the boss my mind began to question No one was the answer to my own suggestion Accepting we’ll never know totally where we came from Our bargain with our elephant in the end is zero sum

“I am” the most powerful words towards identity . If you use those words, you will become those things. It starts with the statement that leads to action. The act of hope, then to faith, faith is the movement. Faith is an action. As you act you get evidence of things, not seen that are true, which gives confidence to more action. Becoming more of the “I am”

To me, perspective is based on a consciousness level, or the ability to navigate various levels of dimensions. Those dimensions are outward expressions of an internal interconnected landscape much like a blossoming flower. So perspective is the willful, deliberate ability to shift along inside ourselves, activating, de-activating, mixing activations of awareness. This can be thought of as simply shifting frequencies. The degree to which this is subconscious versus conscious is different for us all; and even shifts from second to second. I have a perspective at the moment that is less than empowering with regard to what I think I'm facing. I'm reluctant to do certain things that might bring up the same result from the past, which stretched out for a few years; and which could conceivably stretch out for more, from the time of implementing that series of changes. Because time is so precious for me; as a result of thinking about the inevitability of death, I am loathe to take a road that will cost me MORE time later in having to backtrack; then the time I am losing NOW by continuing to ponder my situation. Someone who has a perspective of having QUICKLY been able to recover from mistakes, might go ahead and act now; even though it might be a mistake; because they are more inclined to believe that they will be able to learn fast enough to make it worth their time if they DO make that mistake. I know I have to make a major perspective shift in the near future; but for now, I'm trying not to berate myself for more slowly moving into that shift than what I'd like.

There are not limits but the ones you impose upon yourself, your perception is the mechanism, or tool if you want to say it this way, which make your reality. The problem is that your beliefs always influence what you created. Therefore, you not always get want you want or desire because your beliefs sabotage what your wants.

From birth to age 6 are critical years with certain critical elements we need to learn to develop trust, empathy & a strong sense of our spirit being, in order to realize our connection & socialize in a nurturing adaptively functioning way. This has been corrupted by certain "societal slavery norms" where we learn to subdue our true selves, losing our birth-gifted authenticity. Shakespeare says it well , "Let us prepare a face to meet the faces that we meet." Families & institutions are still rigid , tyrannical, judgemental & often extremely imposing, so there is definitely an illusional matrix to shed !

Well said! Trauma is by design. Younger, naive women can have kids. Older, established women with the financial resources typically are too old to have kids. The trauma is by design as part of the introduction process in the game. Birth itself is even symbolic of the trauma of our birth here on earth. All our motivations, behaviors and impulses stem from trauma. If we cure all our trauma, we will cease to exist in this third density game. Earth is a trauma planet game.

I believe Perspective is the meaning one has made from the situation observed. How all of the contributing elements crest the meaning of the narative. Judgment is mentioned and is relevant. Which is not the same as being judgmental. Assessment maybe. Is 'perspective' how the being persieves the meaning of one's experience.

Another Tom brilliant interview and I have to convey my deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to ur fulfillment formula. It's magnificent. Hard work plus instinct joy plus transferring your potential to tangible skill plus group benefits. AND I also think it's much beneficial to talk about our problem because Discussing your problems with someone can provide emotional relief. Bottling up emotions and keeping problems to yourself can lead to stress, anxiety, and even physical health issues. Talking about a problem allows you to gain different perspectives and insights. Others may offer solutions or viewpoints that you hadn't considered. Conversations about problems can lead to problem-solving. When you articulate the issue, you may uncover potential solutions or strategies to address it. Brainstorming with others can also lead to creative problem-solving, Sometimes, talking about a problem can validate your feelings and experiences. Knowing that others have faced similar challenges and empathize with your situation can provide a sense of validation and reassurance.

And yes, I don't agree with everything he says, but he has some very important things to say and a lot of people are rejecting it blindly. Dr. Peterson for me is a strong paternal grandfather figure that has a lot of old wisdom, yet there is some stuff in his tradition that need to reevaluate, by him self and by individuals at a personal level, and decide what to take or change. Not by stupid ignorant institutions that have people brained washed becuase they don't have original thoughts. I've met a lot of people like that.... they just follow the crowd like sheeps', been guided by evil or manipulative institutions that only pull strings at their convenience. For the far least he is pushing back. He is doing way more then that! But at leaaast we owe him that. People, we cannot dump our grandparents to the dumpster like they're an old rug, thinking there believes are trash. Its time to rescue what is valuable from them and our traditions, and let go what is not. And that is at a very personal level.

I love Tom’s presentation because he doesn’t try to act smart and asks difficult questions without being combative, even when he disagrees. I have learned so much from the podcasts. Thank you🌼Love from South Africa 🇿🇦

Momentum or confidence. Momentum is a continuation of what precedes. What precedes is familliar. Is Confidence ones ability to predict the familliar?

The real question is, what does God want for us? If we don’t get what we want then that’s divine providence in action. The book of Job in the Bible explains that ultimately we really aren’t in control of anything but we should just come to terms with that and make peace with God’s plan for our lives.

True..! And God's plan is best for us.. His plan is always superior in the long run.. If we know this, realize this fact, it's easy to accept and come to terms with God's plan for us..

He is a very smart person . (Peterson) Imagine if he did not care much about fame , power and money . I wish he was more like Marcus Aurelius or Diogenes.

Must admit Peterson's explanations were Shakespearion anyways a great wordsmith. Which I mean respectfully, on this one. It is his feild though. Psychology. However any psychologist is at least 50% charlaton I believe. Maybe that's better than Jung though

❤ This topic aside, whomever is managing Peterson’s online presence, needs to level out. Peterson’s BRAND is becoming ubiquitous AND, 1 man can NOT “weigh in” on EVERY DAILY EVENT and NOT BEGIN TO SOUND “cookie-cutter or “over-produced”; am NOT saying Jordan IS diluted, idk(?), but is , “how he’s beginning TO SOUND.. I love Peterson, I’m being honest (just how his online work I s coming across, to me. I wish he’d lay-off, and CHOOSE THE 2/3 THINGS, HE’s MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT. He can not be “interviewer AND Expert Advocate AND World Leader. Not with his authentic, personality. Because, he has a wonderful combo of “large deep -feeling sensitivity” , plus is a HONED cerebral informed & thoughtful “man of counsel”, one could bank on, plus “HAD” an unbridled EDGE when outrage was the appropriate response - this has been waning. And he’s sounding “stale & too much “the same”, at times when he shouldn’t be sounding the same. He sounds like has hands in too many cookie jars, and it waters all down(using same paint brush, when it makes painting has a “washed” look. I always wish him the best. And, remain a supporter. Love the Exodus, production, for 1 sample of his better online work. Am also, very hopeful for his University enterprise. I was confused by some of his political commentary, especially with regard to the Middle East conflict, among other lessor political events. ❤🙏☝️🕊⚔️🛡⚖️⚡️💪🌎🔥🌍🌪🌏🌊💨
