I've been playing the MyTeam mode for the last couple of months. I played a little bit of MyTeam 22 and the last 4 months of 23. The only thing I did was improving my team by buying the best players, but I soon realized that a good team is nothing if you're not good at the game. In the last couple of games, I've seen most of my opponents online playing the same play over and over again, scoring always from 3. So, I started to research on KZread to find out which play it was. Thanks to you, now I know it: 'Quick 5 out 2.' These videos are so useful to improve and play mindful basketball on MyTeam. Thanks. You have a new subscriber. Could you also make a video on how to defend against the Quick 5 out 2?

thanks bro appreciate the support. That's a great idea, defense against these plays, a bit tricky, but a good idea. Let me have a think and get back to you.

I really like this. The use of metrics for testing and evidence is great. One thing I slightly critique is the lack of variance in the plays. While these plays are good, they almost are similar aside from the cutting one. I believe having a few more plays added onto a video like this showcasing some double ball screens or longer plays with multiple options would only make the video better overall. I like this and I subscribed to continue to tune in!

Quick note: I tried these plays from the Nuggets pbook on All-Time Domination, and even at All-Star, the effectiveness of Cut Rip Ram 1 is greatly reduced. The higher rated players of the CPU keeps intercepting the entry pass.

@@marlonborreo Thanks buddy. Yeah I was only 50% effective on Cut Rip Ram 1, and I think in general, those passes to the inside are risky to pull off, but obviously worth it if you are successful (on the pass and the shot). Try the lob or a bounce pass?

@@gametimewho yep, lobs are good (but the PDs and GOs of the CPU can still intercept those). What I find works a bit better is to dribble a little and fake a drive with the ballhandler so that the defense pays a bit more attention to the ballhandler and forget a bit about the cutter :)

On playnow vs cpu. Before the game starts I go to coachig sliders and change to nuggets playbook but in offensive settings the same plays appear even after trying to change lineup.

to see the plays (with the lines, where to go, etc.) you can pause the game, go to gameplan > coach settings, then make sure offensive playvision is set to 'All Plays' and PlayVision Display is set to 'Full'. Great video. So double you cant buy your own playbooks this year. This is my favorite playbook for years.

I agree this is an awesome playbook, there are a few more money plays I didn't include that are just as good: Fist Thru Short, Give Elbow Slice, Fist Stagger 24, etc. Yeah I exchange gold players for a playbook every time to get as much playbooks as I can

@@jeffbizzos2424 there's a new item on the exchange in MyTEAM, you can exchange a playbook option pack for any player, basically it gives you 5 choices on what playbook you want to own, huge improvement from just getting a random one

if you're calling the favorite plays, yes every start of the game, which is annoying. but you can also just press L1 on PS5, then the icon of the player you want to call the play (for example, L1 + X if you want to call the play for the point guard) and just select the plays applicable to him

how do you test these playbooks?

in playnow offline I first go thru all plays in a playbook to identify the good ones, then once I have about 4 to 8 good plays, I play in myTeam domination and run those plays, measure them against shot quality (wide open, open, contested, etc.), run time average (from start of action to ball leaving shooter's hand), and final shooter (who you can call the play for). out of 20 shots for instance, if I get atleast 70% open, then the plays are good in my eyes, hope that helps

How do you even get playbooks? Is it only from packs?

yes packs in myteam. But there's a new pack that they introduced - an option playbook pack where you get to choose between 5 playbooks and you can select what you like/what you dont have yet

Give it an another Play like "Quick Out5 2"? The playbooks are updated :(

Try Fist 21 Double - it's a double ball screen that will still get you an open three but it's not a catch and shoot play like Quick 5Out2

You need to turn shot meter off, you get a 20% boost for greening 👌

you can buy a pack in MyTeam (using MT) and you can get 5 random playbooks, buy enough and you will get the warriors

yeah they made an update and Quick5OUt2 no longer there. You can try Fist 21 Double as an alternative

great looks just poor results. i recommend turning off the shot meter. i turned mine off since they first introduced it in 2k15 and i feel it works better to trust your own instinct than to look at a goofy meter. this year i feel like its easier than ever to green a shot without the meter.
