I'm so sad he's gone! I recall my sister packing for college, asking me (as if my opinion mattered) whether she should take this article of clothing or that. When I offered my advice in my most Richard Morant voice possible, she said in a surprisingly good Edward Petherbridge voice, "Of course, Bunter. Whatever SHALL I do without you?" To which I would reply, "I couldn't say, milord." So many happy memories connected with this series and Peter, Harriet and Bunter. You are all loved.

Richard Morant and Edward Petherbridge - the most perfect Bunter and Wimsey under the sun. Oh how I love to watch these episodes. Sheer joy.

In 2004 I managed to buy all these priceless DVDs from our WITHDRAWN section in the British Library, along with Sir Norman Wisdom and the Persuaders. I remember coming back home dead tired from office, having a shower ,getting into pajamas and slipping a DVD into the DVD player. And indulging in an orgy of elegant background sets which made me 'visualise' a glorious era long gone. Where ladies were handed a red rose, not a word was said ... Bunter in the books was superbly played by Mr. Morant so I must thank you for this video bringing back happy memories. .

I discovered you, Mr Petherbridge, just recently through your portrayal of Lord Peter Wimsey... the "recently" might be excused by the fact that not being english I find difficult to have interesting and worth material to enjoy, especially in theatre. I must say your Lord Peter is absolutely amazing, I find him consistent, compelling, smart, intelligent, sexy, elegant, classy... all things Ian Carmichael's was not! Now I'm looking for everything you played in... thank you for letting me fall in love with you!❤ As for Richard Morant, it's too bad he went so young...

So elegant with a touch of silly, just enough not to be pompous. Great script, marvelous acting with a set, props and costumes to create the magic that is just as effective all these years later.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Richard Morant. The two of you seem so at ease with one another in these scenes as though you've been together for years, just how Wimsey and Bunter should be.

A very fitting tribute to Richard Moran, his 'Bunter' was as I imagined.. I have enjoyed watching all versions of Wimsey and Bunter. This montage for Richard, was a joy to watch tinged with sadness, at the loss of a fine actor.. RIP RM as Lord Peter would say 'That'll do Bunter'.. And in reply 'Yes Mi' Lord'.. Best wishes EP, from Wales

I didn't know Richard Morant had passed away. That was kind of a shock. This really was a lovely tribute. I remember him way back from the Poldark series. I loved this series as well (still do!). That was awesome the way you tossed the letter onto the tray.

Lord Peter Wimsey is one of my FAVORITES! So glad to have found this the other night when i was longing to watch it, but don't have the DVD in my possession presently. Wanting more in this vein (with Vane). . . ever thought of a present day rendezvous with Harriet in the spirit of the series? or more clips like these mixed in with your channel? Whether or not that happens THANK YOU for your artistic KZread offerings, what an absolute treat.

Oh dear Mr. P., I didn't realize this was your own personal channel. I would buy the DVD's if I saw them offered, but the only ones I've seen are of the stories were done before the stories with you and Richard Morant. I enjoyed the stories with you, Richard Morant and Harriet Vane the most even though I saw them about 40 years ago.

Such good stuff! I think my husband needs a dressing gown like that blue one in the last scene. I would have to sew it - you'd never find something like that in shops (pity). Did you get to keep any of your clothes from the films? Most would be too anacronistic to use, but the dressing gowns would be luxurious!!

Interesting take on the eggs for the omelet. In the novel the eggs were freshly acquired, here they are the last 4 in the house. Every one knows you always eat the cracked ones first!
