This angle is so cool ! We can truly see the ball's speed here, it's insane to see how fast they can hit without even moving their legs 😂

So much beauty and harmony in Roger's movement. I believe he can hit the ball with an eye closed. Sousa is not bad either. We are just so fortunate to live and watch the Maestro plays the game. Tennis won't be the same once he retires.

I can always tell from a player of how they volley. If they are actually any good u will never see swinging back or cocking your racket back on a volley. A person that knows the basic fundamentals will always have their racket in front of u and punch through not pull back. That’s one of my pet peas when I see people swing it back. I always wanna correct them but I just walk away, hoping that someone else corrects them.

joosiej85 They’ve only played twice and Rafa won both of those meetings. Joao doesn’t know Rafa’s game in and out. At best he’s tasted Rafa’s sissy serve out wide and fear hand on the return over and over and over again. On the return side all he’s seen is Rafa standing WAY back, getting the ball back and then fear hand on the next shot over and over again. Joao needs new tactics or he will look like Richard Gasquet and never win against Rafa in 15 professional tries.

Ignorant people dont even take Federers Age into Consideration...He will be "38" in August...He is MUCH older than Nadal/Djokovic in Terms of Tennis age...Yet he STILL Won the Australian Open couple years ago...Still going DEEP in Majors...Still Beating many of the Top young guns while Winning ATP Tournies...He was destroying Djokovic all the time so bad he would make Djokovic Quit matches...Djokovic started Winning as Federer got Older...Prime to Prime Federer was simply MUCH better than Djokovic

He really needs to build trust in his offensive backhand. Also going a bit more down to strike it, even in practise SESSION. I would be a good coach for RF...

Shashank Sagar yes, I am very happy with Rafa’s effort. I just want a competitive match in the semis and I think it would be more competitive if Roger practiced right. He relies too much on his talent. He should practice more intently. Like Rafa, every day with the goal to make little improvements. I’ve watched Rafa practice many times. Watching Rafa practice is like discovering something new every day. When he works on his power and stamina, you say wow, he’s a beast. When he works on technique it’s not intense but you can see his brain at work. Tries fails, tries again with a tweak better, tries again with another tweak and bingo! Now it’s time to try like a match. Try’s again and again until it is second nature. Roger... looks like he is playing on a playground not really trying, like he’s just keeping his body warm. But I must admit he does look like he’s having a little fun whereas Rafa doesn’t look like that. To each their own!

That’s why 1 month short of 38 he’s still on Tour. The pros complain about hard courts and the long season; but it’s practicing too hard that burns them out. I guarantee none of the last 16 forgot how to hit the ball while sleeping Saturday night.
