Planning a re-tour a year from the first one. That was March-April time I think. Will be cool to show all the changes during those 12 months. Hopefully keep a lot of trolls off my back too now it's all sorted A-Z 🤣

I was able to pick up the Phantasm set as well. Might be my favorite pick up of the year. I’ve opened mine if you want to take a look but there are lots of videos out there showing what it looks like inside. I also got that Big Trouble set but my album is green. It’s on my video if you want to take a look at it. And that Firefly set is sweet looking. Awesome pick ups as usual, sir!

Thank you my good man. Yeah that Phantasm set is a beauty. I didn't show it in the video but I had already opened it to give Phantasm 2 a quick spin to check out the PQ. Took ages to get the digibook out from the box it was wedged in pretty tight 😂. And yeah, I'll check out your vid for the Green vinyl. I haven't seen an unboxing of the green one so it would be good to compare. Thanks again for watching 👍

I'm glad you like the Well Go Blu ray Phantasm collection w/sphere and I am waiting for one to come to me in the mail myself. I also have the previous Arrow Blu ray Sphere set, and I plan to keep them "mint in box". Waiting for well go to release the new remaster of Phantasm II as a "vanilla" release so I have no problem opening it and seeing it Uncut (with the X-Rated Sphere - attack scene on the priest).

Another great vid, thank you! Twin Peaks From Z to A came out too, had that on preorder when it was first announced. Highly recommend! The set is stellar, I know you’d appreciate it

Thanks Darren. That Twin Peaks set is on my radar for sure. It's getting a local release here at the end of January so I'm still debating to get it at launch or take the gamble and wait for a sale hoping it's still available. I know it's a limited edition but I'm not sure it'll sell out too quickly here in Australia.

Wilsonian Movie Museum I’m surprised it didn’t sell out here in the US. 20,000 is a decent amount, but given the history of the show, figured it would’ve went quicker. I’m sure you’ll be fine. Looking forward to the next vid!

Thanks Darren. Yeah very lucky the fires are not too close to us. There are a still some burning around our State but we're lucky none have been near our home. My thoughts go out to everyone who hasn't been so lucky though. One came close to my inlaws place but luckily the wind changed and blew it away from all the houses. 👍

Ha! Know it was Firefly as soon as you said over in one season! Probably top 5 TV shows of all time in my opinion, a total shame what happened and being cancelled so soon!

Haha I LOVE Grindhouse. Tarantino's best project imo and it really appealed to my fanboy instincts 😁 It's all about opinions!

That's cool. I'm glad you liked it, Matt. Personally I preferred Planet Terror but that's the beauty of film - it's all subjective. Regarding Tarantino - even my least favourite of his I still enjoy and don't think Death Proof is a bad movie. He's just got such a great filmography. Same as Christopher Nolan. I think all of his movies are great and even my least favourite of his - Dunkirk - I still find a lot to like in it 👍

I think physical media is far from dead. There's a place for streaming/downloading and for physical media. There are still many of us who want to own physical copies of films both as fans and collectors. Different editions are constantly sold out, why? Demand! It's still an industry worth billions to the studios. Look at the Simpsons , back on physical. Look at the return of vinyl. People want tangible things again. Pride of ownership. Finally, you are an inspiration to fans of physical media everywhere. We live through your collection. You inspire me to keep growing my collection. Keep the videos coming.

Thanks Michael. It's hard to deny the decrease in physical media when stores are closing and those still open are shrinking down their movie sections. Sadly lots of titles are no longer getting Blu Ray releases, just DVD, and content made for streaming services like Bright, Mute, 6 Underground and possibly even The Irishman might never get a physical release. I agree physical is still far from dead but streaming has definitely had an impact on the industry and us physical collectors 👍.

Weird coincidence I got The infinity Saga box set the same day as you released your video featuring it

I do sometimes, yeah. I didn't like the design of this months Infinity Saga box but still wanted it for the Marvel collection. I'm not really a fan of Power Rangers but I did purchase the 20th Anniversary set in the Red Ranger helmet... not to watch it but because it did look amazing and it's nice to feature an iconic show like that in my collection even if I don't have any desires to watch it 👍

You’ve probably answered this before but what blu-ray player do you use? I’ve been looking for a good region free one for ages to no avail

The main blu ray player downstairs is the LG BH9540TW. I do all my 4K watching upstairs on the Panny UB820. For my multi-region player I just have the Laser BD-3000. It was cheap and cheerful and does the job for those Region A titles I import that are region locked. I hope this helps dude 👍

From company Everything Blu. They were given free with their editions of King Kong and Schindler's list.

I'm honestly not surprised that Infinity Saga is so lazy considering it's Disney but I've got that Game of Thrones boxset myself and I adore it

I cant unsee it naw but the big trouble in little China steel book looks like the lightning is shooting from his arse...sorry...love the show

Not often. There's a Cash Converters close by but it's always full of junk DVDs I just don't want to own. I sometimes snatch a bargain on the Facebook buy and sell groups or Gumtree but the majority of my collection is all new. Cheers.

Agree with the Infinity Saga, just lazy and a disappointment. It deserve better, at least mini steelbooks in each movie, lenticular, etc. Now the extreme is GOT, beautiful package just a joy for a collector, BUT as I hated it how they ended the series, I wouldn't buy it either, even if the set is one of the best I ever seen. As always a pleasure to watch your videos.

Was $399 AUD here on release. A week after release it featured in the 20% off sale at JB-Hifi putting it down to $320.00. In the boxing day sale it featured in the Buy One Get One Free box set offer but then sold out and was removed from the website.

The laziest box set I’ve seen is the Australian version of the Star Trek 50th anniversary box set. Which is nothing like the other versions overseas and was a big disappointment.

My movie collection is so small compared to yours :(

Not really just one site unfortuantly although Blu ray dot com and HiDefNinja forums are pretty comprehensive. Learning about all these up and coming editions takes a lot of time and research online scouring through heaps of websites as well as communication with other collectors from around the world. 👍

I agree infinity saga was very very lazy. Game of thrones is awesome.

I feel like my custom made marvel boxset is better than this one, looks like they rushed to release something, just to get out of the way.

Good question. This collection is far more than just about owning the movie or TV show. It's also about the beauty in the packaging and the artwork and how it get's displayed. If I only cared about the content then like you i'd have waited to grab the cheap and cheerful standard release dirt cheap. As it is, I have seasons 1-7 in those awesome sigil steelbooks so had to finish the set with season 8. And there's no way a collection like mine was going to be without that complete series box set. It's a stunning piece of art and deserves a place on my shelves 👍

21:28 yeah, only that either the dragonglass or valyrian steel was barely you used in season eighth at all although it should have been used a lot in the very last final battle... Fuck this dumb season that ruined the whole series

I love Brad Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and agree Robbie is wasted. Overall I liked the first act and the last act but the middle is kinda not great
