"On The Holy Mountain" is a cantata for voices and chamber ensemble by Andrew M. Wilson, opus 364. Each of the six short movements following the instrumental PRELUDE relates to a mountain in the Holy Land and a bible story associated with it: 2. Moses receives the tablets of the Law on SINAI, 3. Elijah's encounter with the Lord on HOREB, 4. The transfiguration of Christ on TABOR, 5. Jesus at OLIVET 6. The crucifixion on CALVARY and 7. The Ascension of Christ from OLIVET.
