Before Christ came into my life, the old man I was... was so terrible. Nowadays, I am still learning to lean on Jesus and His Spirit so I don't let the old man I was take over and come back in again. 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation. The Community appreciates the fact that you are incredibly self-aware of life's eventualities. Toby was certainly an authority on his life, and it's hard to argue with personal experience and a common human condition.

Willie is definitely advancing in age. It is inspiring that Willie is still a self-motivated service-oriented individual in his 90s. Our hearts go out to Toby and his family.

As a Texan, Willie will always be a legend to us all. Toby left us with so many memories.

Interestingly enough, Willie Nelson is both an artist and marijuana icon. We appreciate his tenacity.

Beautiful song, and probably the most touching version of it is when Toby Keith sang it just a few months before he died. You could feel the emotion.

This is so beautiful! Willie, you'll never be an "old man" in my eyes. And I hope we have you for at least another decade! Curious did anyone else notice the horse standing by a horse trailer, about midway through the video, that bore a resemblance to the original "Trigger", Roy Roger's horse? Clearly you'd have to be "old" like me to remember that Trigger. But I feel like that wasn't just a coincidence, since I've heard Willie say his guitar was named for the horse, Trigger.

Thank you for pointing out some interesting features in the music video. I walked past a horse trailer in the video during my trip to Virginia City, Nevada to gather footage about the origins of The Old West. The Community is now aware of the curious connection between Roy Roger's horse and Willie Nelson's guitar. In the theatre of our minds, it's a real cliff hanger.

The sun comes up and goes down every day right? In this time of uncertainties, , Willie Nelson is the constant. Still touring and still making music with his friends. Willie has been involved with everything great that is music. He was even in the We Are the World 🌎 single/video. Out lived most of his peers & peers 30 years younger. Keep it up Willie!! Any way he sang part of "Walking After Midnight " "Hello Walls" and one other. I am 75 and that was a long time ago.

Now you've got me wondering if I saw him before I knew who he was. Because we never missed the Porter Wagoner show. And I'm 73. But I know for sure I knew who he was from the mid '70s on. But by then he was wearing long hair. And I have a feeling from reading how he felt about how he had to dress back in the suit days, he was "always a Hippie" at heart. Or at least a non-conformist, and an "outlaw". 😊
