Willie is an absolute treasure! It's hard to see him declining and that one of a kind voice affected by congestion in lungs/ chest. I have been praying for Willie every year for about 10 yrs and happy when he has another birthday to celebrate. God bless Willie Nelson!

@@edwardcharles8638 I've been huge fans since my late teens and I'm in my 70s now. Of course, I was first a fan of Keith, then I became a huge fan of Willies in the very early 70s. The song "Live Forever" by Billy Joe Shaver has been a favorite forever as well. I can remember both Billy and Willie singing in tiny little bars back in he 70s.

Happy Birthday Willy! Keith Richard's good friend Gram Parsons gave him a 2 year Master Class on the History of Country Music. That's why there was usually a Country Flavered Song on every Rolling Stones Album after that. RIP Gram.

Keith phrasing is often very reggae inspired. Maybe not here but I've been listening to a lot of his solo material and it's so great. Lots and lots of influences go into his music style.

The talents of these two great outlaws never ceases to amaze me. They are both world musical treasures and let's hope we have them both for many more years to come. We just lost Gordon Lightfoot in Canada who also was a great guitarist and song writer and he's looking down on these two and telling them to play on.

I've become a huge fan of Lukas Nelson in the last few years. That voice lives on in him, yet his music is still so original to himself. But if you close your eyes, you'll swear you're hearing a young Willie

I will say one thing, this man is 90 and still on stage playing and singing and his voice is still so good. I know so many people in 60-70s and they hardly get around and memory issues, etc. Willie is friggen 90 and still sharp as ever, that is beyond impressive. Cheers Willie and Happy 90th, you are a kind soul and great man, thank you for a lifetime of music, your songs played as a soundtrack to my life, wishing you many more and hope you can still get out there some to give us more memories and songs. God Bless Willie.

I've only just started watching the 4 part series about Willie. Fascinated by his story. Always known of him,barely touched on his catalogue of music. Just listened to Stardust. Beautiful. Will start ploughing through from now on. This duet blew me away. The Stones are my absolute favourites, Keith particularly. Him and Willie always have been kindred spirits. These 2 songs are beautiful. At 90 Willie sounds amazing. What a guy.

They did " we had it all " at Willie's 80th birthday as well. English rock'n'rollers just love country music. Richards, Wood, Clapton, Townshend have all recorded beautiful country tunes.

Willie is a bona fide legend. Happy 90th and many more to come!

Mick Jagger's first memory of Keith is him dressed up like Roy Rogers at age 5.... years later when the Stones first got to the US, Keith got it arranged for them all to go out for a few days "on the range" all dressed up as Cowboys replete with six-shooters.... apparently they all came back stinking to high heaven and on a child-like high from being "cowboys" for a while.

My sister and I went to Willies 45th birthday in Baton Rouge, La. 4/29/78. I was 19. Other performers were Asleep at the Wheel, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Paycheck, Leon Russell and of course Waylon was there. I remember Paycheck being drunk or high and obnoxious and annoying everyone on stage. What an evening it was though and I still have the set list. Happy Birthday Willie 🥳🎂
