My father lived 30 minutes away most of my life & never visited. In my mid 30s I ran across his son/my bro on Facebook. My father died a week after that encounter. I attended his funeral & saw him for the first time inside a casket. His family welcomed me with open arms as i resembled my father sooo much. Even tho he didn't want me while alive, attending his funeral gave me closure to that situation. Every situation is different & requires a personalized custom solution to resolve.

Angel Johnson he wasn’t a work colleague. He was a business partner. Which meant he delivered financially and professionally. While true you don’t have to like each other but terrible of Willie D saying all this and the man wasn’t even buried. Couldn’t even take a dying man’s feelings into consideration

Had a co-worker I didn't like vice-versa pass away over 3 weeks ago..and we was encourage to come by the job to pay respects and share memories of him. I could care less and continued with my day off. We never really got along..so I would of felt like a hypocrite showing up. I understand Willie D.

Why attend someone's funeral you don't like? It's beyond phony, I have family who passed and I never bothered to go to their funeral. Funeral ain't the place for drama
