How exciting for you. What a great day for Barry Island. I'll never forget the day when Prince Charles and Diana visited Atherstone, a small town just six miles away from home, in 1985. They visited Racemeadow school and through the school railings, I managed to shake hands with the Prince and speak to Diana. It is a wonderful thing and a wonderful memory. William is like his mum. Brilliant footage as always xx

How lovely that they came to the island for a visit. I went to Margam park typical and got soaked with flash floods down there.. One thing shocked me more than anything else was your Princess lost for words for a change..

Barry Island has changed very much as when I visited Barry when I was much much younger way back together with my brother,mother and father for a whole day or afternoon building sandcastles on the beach and trying to erect the flaming deckchairs which was a laugh on times and also on occasions visited Cold Snap and the boating lake
