So I'm just finding this guy. No one who plays classical on the classical guitar sucks. It's a "can't happen". But this fellow is strongly and repeatedly striking me as a cut above. WILLIAM IS JUST SUPERB. NO ARGUMENT.

I'm always searching for new performances of this piece. This entered in the top list of my favourites. The Barrueco version is flawless and with an unique interpretation of the repetitive phrase. This version is less stiff and melodic with some interesting interpretations. The Gasbarroni version performed at the Tchaikowsky hall in 1970 is also on my top list. Althoug with some imprecision it is the more dynamic and with an incredible crescendo close to the end. Check it out.

por que usted dice eso? es usted un guitarrista? si es asi digame que tipo de guitarrista es y que nivel de conociemiento musical posee por favor a ver si tiene razon en lo que habla porque segun tengo entendido la manera de llegar a niveles guitarristicos elevados por asi decirlo es estudiando la musica antigua de los grandes maestros ya que su musica posee niveles de dificultad de distintos grados los cuales son un legado para los estudiantes de hoy dia los cuales brindan un desarrollo de entendimiento musical rapido certero y eficaz para dar pasos agigantados como ejecutante tomando en cuenta la diversas velocidades que hay que desarrollar para ejecutar el instrumento el manejo de los tipos de timbre que hay en la guitarra segun las longitudes de la cuerda donde se ha pisado el traste y ni hablar de la musicalidad que debe desarrollar el estudiante a parte de los tipos de memoria visual muscular auditiva fotografica etc sin contar todo el conocimiento que se ha de requerir a nivel teorico practico en cuanto al solfeo armonia arreglo y composicion para despues poder llegar a ser creadores de verdadera musica culta y no ser un creador de musica popular que ta solo con un año de estudio se puede lograr ser "guitarrista" si es usted un maestro digame cual es su metodo o donde da clases para formarme con usted estoy dispuesto a pagarle la cantidad que pida si es que reamente es un maestro demuestre a ver que es lo que trae

Excellent interpretation, but I prefer Marc Teicholz's performance.

Well done, but I prefer a less delicate interpretation. This felt soft and prancey, not like a "grand solo."

Compared to Bream it's nothing ...
