not really 1 million hour, its depend on how much you read and write. example, if you write and read for full storage for continuous 24 hours daily. , then it will hardly last 2-3 years.

I think filesystem also make effort on SSD. I use ssd with Linux over 10 years ans it works awesome

I bought a WD brand 240gb m.2 ssd on Amazon in January 2021 @ Rs. 2400. I installed it on my HP laptop as a Bootable drive for Windows 10, it worked absolutely fine for almost 2.5 years. No issues. But, Just, Yesterday it got corrupted, it took me some time to find out why my laptop was not starting up. Buz, the SSD got dead, it had my OS windows 10 on it. Meanwhile my even older HDD which is 1tb which had come along with the laptop itself, is still working fine even today. (It's been 5 years & I'm still using this laptop HDD, without failure). Conclusion: Do not go for chep deals. Buy good products of reputed brands. Bcuz, your data is more valuable.

i had windows on my SSD , it unnecessary went into disk repair mode , i redownloaded OS for 4 to 5 times and it still didnt worked , so i removed the SSD and downloaded window on HDD and now its working fine ! edit : well however i came to know at final that my ssd health was 81% and hdd was 8% and my window crashed due to HDD and not due to SSD , and now i have bought new HDD and no issue occured from months !

I have bought Dell G5 before 2 years and recently before 2 days, it was showing that your harddrive is not installed. However, I quickly visited nearest laptop centre and the engineer told that the SSD is getting to much hot when its connected and need to replace the SSD. For now I have replaced the SSD but, I need my old data, Anyone can suggest to restore the data. The Engineer claimed it might be taking 10-12 k for restoring.

This means there is no file system and that space is available but os cannot detect it.

My laptop suddenly reboot during switch on and restart into bios mode, on checking I found its ssd goes disappear. Again, I install the windows in hdd, but the hdd disk working in its 100% and laptop goes very slow.. After 5 days even hdd goes crash.. Should i have to replace the both or there might problem in my motherboard My laptop is 2 years old asus rog i5 9th gen

It is good/ 480GB SSD = 2 PARTITION FROM SSD AND 1 TB HDD = 4 partition from hdd any performance issues , BCS I WANT 1 BIG GAME IN MY (SSD)

So basically it become like phones just use and throw after 5 or 6 years later.. I m an ssd user too and i constantly read and write files in my ssd bought it on 4th july 2021 and 2 years later already my ssd health is 83% so it looks like 2026 will be the last stoppage maybe 2027...while my 1tb wd hdd which i bought in 2011 still running like a lion some sectors are damaged i saw it on diskinfo but otherthan that its completely fine no data loose nothing...

Storage slow. I think your storage device is failing. Use crystal disk info to check health of the drive.

भाई जी एक हेल्प चाहिए थी मैं एक लैपटॉप का इस्तेमाल करता हूं, जिसमे पहले 1 टीबी की हार्ड ड्राइव लगी हुई थी और मेरा लैपटॉप बहुत स्लो चलता था, आपके चैनल को देखते देखते मुझे यह जानकारी हुई कि SSD लगवाने से स्पीड बढ़ जाती है, और हुआ भी बिलकुल वैसा भी। मैंने 1 टीबी की SSD खरीद कर दुकान से लगवा दिया अपने लैपटॉप में। Crucia MX 500 वाली थी। और जो हार्ड डिस्क लैपटॉप से निकली, उसको मैंने केसिंग/एंक्लोजर के माध्यम से एक्सटर्नल हार्ड डिस्क बना लिया और मेरा काम अच्छे से चलने लगा। लेकिन एक दिन बिना किसी वजह के मेरी एक्सटर्नल हार्ड डिस्क शो करना ही बंद हो गई। मैंने डिस्क मैनेजमेंट में जाकर देखा तो उसमें हार्ड डिस्क Unallocated शो करने लगी थी, और मेरा एक भी पार्टिशन नहीं दिख रहा था, ना ही कोई डेटा शो हो रहा था। मैं दुकान वाले के पास अपनी एक्सटर्नल हार्ड डिस्क लेकर गया तो उसने कहा कि आप अपनी हार्ड डिस्क को फॉर्मेट किए हैं, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं था सौम्य भाई, मैने फॉर्मेट नहीं किया था, मैं तो हमेशा की तरह उसको प्लग एंड प्ले करके इस्तेमाल किया करता था, और अचानक से एक दिन Unallocated दिखाने लग गई। भाई हमको अपनी हार्ड डिस्क का डेटा वापस चाहिए, प्लीज़ हेल्प कीजिए। हमने आपके मुंह से डेटा रिकवरी जैसा कुछ सुना है, उसका पूरा प्रोसेस बता दीजिए सौम्य भाई, बहुत परेशानी में हूं मैं 🙏 अगर हो सके तो कंप्लीट डेटा रिकवरी पर एक प्रॉपर वीडियो बना दीजिए भाई। हमारी तरह बहुत से लोग हैं जिनको ऐसी समस्या आ रही होगी।

आपका सिर्फ डाटा डिलीट नहीं हुआ बल्कि पूरा पार्टीशन टेबल डिलीट हो गया है। ये फॉर्मेट करने से नहीं होता बल्कि कोई डिस्क मैनेजमेंट सॉफ्टवेयर से कोई पूरा पार्टीशन डिलीट कर दे तो हो सकता है। Bad sectors चेक करो अगर कोई bad sectors नही है तो क्रिस्टल डिस्क info जैसे सॉफ्टवेयर S.M.A.R.T एरर चेक करो अगर वो भी नही है तो गलती से पार्टीशन डिलीट हो गया है।

भाई यार आप sdd क्या जरूरत थी जिसमे हार्ड ड्राइव स्लो चल रहा है तो क्या हुआ आराम से चलेगा मेरे पास हार्ड ड्राइव स्लो है तो कोई फर्क नही पड़ता बस आराम से चलेगा तभी तो आप नई sdd स्पीड क्या मतलब इसमे क्या होता है स्पीड या स्लो ये दोनों कुछ नही होता वेसे आप हार्ड ड्राइव शायद रिकवरी हो सकती है किसी से जाकर दुकान पूछ लो

Bro never purchase any dramless or qlc based ssds...for example sn570 crucial p1 etcc...buy 970 evo plus
