ERRATA: I read the developer update as if they update the Deathslinger's addons as well to compensate for his buffs - his stun after chain break will be problematic if Cigar is not nerfed. This needs to stay in check! I hope this super positive video addresses the "you hate everything" allegations towards me. I love calling Ws,this was a blast to record and I reckon you can tell. No, I don't understand the mindset of nerfing perks so they'll be used less. Gen defense is needed, no you shouldn't be stacking 4 of them, but against efficient survivors you need slowdown... or to be nurse. Killers still need gen perks so they'll keep using them even if you made them complete garbage, it just encourages more tunneling from the weaker M1 killers. The killer buffs are nice, and the wesker change makes complete sense, but it still makes sense to use the same add-ons for more bonuses. Unless we push the game towards chasing being the important part, it will stay the same sadly.

Yeah it's needed and it's still there as of now! It's still pretty good and the sabo buffs might just encourage a lot more people to go and spend their toolboxes to sabotage instead of touch gens 24/7. I agree that the game should be chase oriented and I feel like this is just BHVR touching up on the cream of the crop slowdown perks which I feel are a bit overtuned,as well just shaking up the meta.

Tru3 remains the most consistent way to evaluate anything. He says it's good? It's bad. He says it's bad? It's good. I just need him to offer stock opinions so I can do the opposite and get stonks.

@@slickseviper9758 Tru3 may say some valid things,but all of that is lost,especially any shred of credibility he had with everything else surrounding it. He constantly says he "argues with nuance",but the moment he genuinely gets confronted on his bullshit,like the smurfing tweet he just goes "wow i didnt say the thing i said you are a liar and actually weird that you are upset maybe you are doing the thing that i accused everyone of". I don't engage in good faith with people who lie and say they engage in good faith and consistently don't. I remember seeing a video of his and the first he did when watching a dev update was read the community manager who posted it and say "Oh it's THIS GUY,he usually posts all THE CRAZY STUFF". The man is conspiratorial and never says anything of substance. A man of his supposed skill level should literally never struggle and be chill as hell because of how good he is - e.g. Otz - yet every time I saw his stream on my feed he complains about the game and vaguely attacks survivors. If Tru3 wants to be engaged with in a good faith environment he should do the same to other people,not attack character constantly and lie when he gets genuinely confronted - another example being the Spirit Counterplay thing with Scott.

this is gonna make killers more toxic I will be slugging a lot more now because all our gen perks have bin nerfed and wait in till they keep nerfing them little by little in till they are useless wile buff gen rushing

@@2bstiff584 Yeah you literally can. Killer regression perks haven't been nerfed for a long long time before this update and survivors have not gotten anything to speed up gens. Please provide one or two examples. There have been no slowdown nerfs since March 2023 and one mid-tier perk for survivor for toolboxes which got nerfed since PTB - Scavenger - released in June 23. You are waffling.

@@2bstiff584 See you didnt answer my original question. You said in the first comment that your slowdown perks kept getting nerfed. They haven't. Most streamers on killer have a 90% winrate. I'm afraid if gens are flying too fast it's a skill issue. I hope you get better soon!
