    Sarah is a breath of fresh air in the Den. It would've been better if he showed a video of people riding and having fun on the bikes outdoors, a product like this one, to see it in action, speaks louder than words. Touker's statement was uncalled for, "It looks like it came from Frankenstein's Workshop."

    Looks like fun but way too niche. Less practical than bike and people who are really into rowing and want to do it outside can use a boat (I find it weird that nobody mentioned it). Plus it would require a house with lots of storing space or garage. The only way I could imagine people using if you could rent it for 15-60 minutes at parks or some other outdoor spaces just to try something new.

    While the indoor rower is the most unstimulating thing ever, I can defo vouch for its benefits! I lost 14kg in 10 weeks and put about 3 inches on my thighs. Once I got to my goal weight, I sold it and bought a road bike, which is now my pride and joy. Looking at the range of motion, it doesn’t provide enough stimulation to the muscles, if that’s what you’re looking for. I also question the braking and the steering. 3500 seems to much, especially when you can get both the concept 2 and a pretty decent 105 equipped road bike for the same price. Not sure if hats a worthy comparison but seems a lot of money for less efficiency.

    Is far too dangerous to use where there is activity of either people or other modes of transport moving around. The key reason being lack of control ability through what is basically a hands free balance approach for the steering. I can see the natural balance you get from a normal bicycle will be lost with the position and action required, steering would be impossible with your hands against your chest....I can see loads of accidents when people fall off at low speeds and corners. Similar bikes are available with hand drive, but tend to be on 3 wheels which would be more practical in this case.

  • @Kyle_2412
    @Kyle_2412Ай бұрын

    I think he's totally mis-pitched the product. By using a rowing action instead of a pedaling action you over double the potential energy input. This would be perfect for covering huge distances in open, flat(ish) terrain. Its not a mode of exercise, its a mode of transport which offers greater long-distance comfort and speed potential than a traditional push-bike could at the expense of mobility. Bit like how a luxury saloon compares to a hot hatch.

    The name Road Rower reminds me too much of the Road Runner bird. Loved Peter’s closing statement, it really isn’t a needed product. The road rower seems extremely similar to handcycles. The only difference is that with this contraption you use both your legs and your arms to propel yourself. Also handcycles are often trikes for better stability. Might appeal to people living in flat regions with straight roads or for people who want to row but don’t live near water but not mass market enough to be a viable business.

    Extraordinarily dangerous contraption to ride with all for limbs moving simultaneously...Turning, braking, stopping, navigating road conditions and traffic...The motor was interesting addition, but it would have been helpful if he'd shown a video demonstration...with different age riders...BUT maybe he didn't because it's not rideable safely. I am sorry, but I am out.
