Will this convince her she needs an Ebike? Ribble CGR AL-E

We went for a very speedy blast round the local Gravel tracks and Hatty got to try my Ribble CGR AL-E for the first time.
Will she see the light and get one herself?

Another great video, I got the Suntour SP12 seat post to go with my Redshift stem makes it a much more comfortable ride with both fitted to the bike, also check out the Fidlock water bottle system

Thanks! I shall check then seat post out. I've bought a cheap elite custom race bottle holder for now. I've had them on all my bikes for years and not had an issue. The one I have now is so narrow at the top, you cant get the edge of the bottle in it. Probably why Hatty gave it to me 🤣

What pressure do you have in the tyres. A previous video I think you said you had 60 which seems very high for gravel and could be causing the vibrations. I test road a very similar bike and the dealer put 30psi in it. They were tubeless though

Currently just below 60. My non electric cgr has always had around 60 with the same tryes and has been fine, but maybe the extra weight of the ale is making it a bit rougher. I will be going tubeless as soon as I get a chance to sort it out. It's always a tough call as we do a lot of road and gravel in the same trip, so need to find a happy medium.

We received my wife’s CGR ALe yesterday. It arrived with 52 psi and it does feel firm even on the road. I’ve yet to experiment but I feel 40psi might be nearer for mixed but possibly less for the light gravel we have locally

Mine arrived with 60 so I just left it, and like I say, my other Cgr has always had 60 and felt softer. I shall reduce it a bit next time I go out and see. But tubeless is the way forward as soon as I get a chance to do it.

I think she was both impressed and disgusted at the same time! 😂 She will definitely be buying one soon, I guarantee it. She doesn't need it though, she's not a fat old fart like me 🤣

Yeah i saw those. Nice looking, but another screen to find somehere to mount. Ive ordered the little garmin one this morning, should fit nicely on the side of the hoods so I can use my thumb to quickly change levels hopefully!

@kevshields1604 Thank you! I almost got the SL-E, but thought the Al-E would be better suited as we have so much Gravel and offroad around us. I may still get an SL-E in the future too though! 😁
