As an Aussie I say no, the ABs should do us handily. But another competitive super rugby season next year and a year under Schmidt and we may be pushing the top nations again.

So hard to tell because the Wallabies have been strong before even with very little Super Rugby success. But I think you’re right, not quite enough time together with Schmidt to get things to gel nicely.

Bring Richie Mo'unga back.. Dan Carter was part of the 2011 World Cup winning squad but got injured and he didn't really stamp his authority until the 2015 World Cup. DC was part of two World Cup failures in 2003 and 2007 before he tasted success. Mo'unga has been part of two failed World Cup attempts so he needs a chance under Razor he was never given full control of the team because of Foster's love for Beauden.

The panel discussion was somewhat disappointing for Hurricanes fans, as the team was only mentioned towards the end. Fans of the Chiefs will particularly feel overlooked. Sometimes, the purpose of the show seems unclear, as it often becomes a platform for Jeff and John to express their biases. While Kimberly is an effective presenter, Jeff and John often dominate the conversation too much. It would be beneficial to consider bringing in experts who maintain a more neutral stance. For a more balanced approach, the Aotearoa Rugby Pod could serve as a good example to follow. James Parson, Bryn Hall, and Ross Karl offer a more credible and analytical perspective. Even when they show bias, they acknowledge it and strive to provide a more balanced view next time.

We’ll never know if Mo’unga is irreplaceable unless we try others. I reckon he met his potential in the AB jersey in 50% of his tests. Not enough of those were against the top tier, so he was not a “great” 10 in the way Carter, Mehrtens, or Larkham, or Wilkinson were. Barrett much the same, although you might argue he hasn’t been given the same commitment to consistently drive the team outside the 2016-17 period. The beginning of a WRC cycle is the best time to identify, select, and develop new options. Mo’unga had his shot, his decision to leave NZ suggests he knew that.

The AUSSIE teams have given up 40-50 points this season more than twice for all Aussie teams against NZ teams, and somehow, that is a sign the BLEDISLOE Cup challenge from the Aussies will be close? The REDS in 2011 and the WARATAHS when they won SUPER RUGBY and even then, the couldn't win the BLEDISLOE Cup and they had names of icons like Beal, AAC, QC, Digby Ioane, Pocock, Waugh, Mitchell, Giteau, Palu etc etc ... and they could take it from the ALL BLACKS whi dominated that best Aussie roster to date ... and the names of players in the Aussie teams today, their level of talent compared to the names I just dropped, don't even come close, but somehow, these nobodies will threaten this ALL BLACK team. There isn't a single Aussie player who would have made the ALL BLACKS 23 or 2nd team.

I am from UK but live in NZ and For me SA have killed international rugby. I haven't watched a single game of union (only league) since the RWC final last year (also no SR at all). It was the most dour awful 2hrs of rugby supporting I have ever witnessed. It was a great result for SA but from a spectacle point of view it was boring, turgid and slow. There was zero entertainment in that final. Rugby just does not interest me anymore, I catch up on the highlights and sometimes this show but this it now. If SA want to kick and scrum penalty their way to wins then so be it but I wont be watching it anymore and nether will a lot of others, just look at the popularity of league at the moment.

Sour grapes...you're still moaning about a final that took place 6 months ago...it shows what a shallow person you are. You're not a rugby fan.

No sir John Kirwan, Tonga and Samoa has supplied New Zealand rugby with a lot of players, New Zealand rugby needs to put their hands in their pockets. But they won't because they are, and always have been, too skint.
