WILL THIS ABANDONED TANK START ? Part 2 !

AND WERE BACK!! part 2 is here, we made our way back down to the chieftain again with a bit more information. We had it running but not revving, indicating it was locking in a gear. Delving deeper we seemed to find the problem! stick around to the end to see if we got her going!

Strip it down, restore it properly. Popular channels? Mr Hewes, Australian armour and artillery museum. I like to see a good job being done on restoration. Mechanical engineering!

Ye we want to do those kind of videos when we have more time, the challenger is the first in line for full restoration series!!
When i was a kid in the 80s, the chieftain was my favourite tank. I'd really love to see this old beast up and running again and kept as a piece of history. People only think things are historical when almost none of them are left, preserve it for the future.
Get her running propeely, she deserves to be cared for. Good work so far.
I've never worked on a tank before, but when I drop a 'non sticky metal' piece, I ball up a hunk of duck tape sticky side out and put it on a stick. It works. You may wind up with every other piece of trash dropped down there over the years, though. Good work getting those pieces of history running! Love it!
Old US Army 19K here. Great job guys. Such a beautiful beast.
this is the sort of content I am on the internet for, keep it up guys.
I’d love to see more content on the challenger 1, restoring that would be great as there are not that many around. Keep up the good work.

Be careful that you still seem to have the traverse gearbox drive pinion removed so that turret will flop around. Stick with it though you're both doing fine!
I'd love to see them continuing to work on this, it's very entertaining to watch. I enjoy their methodical way of fixing the issues with it.

Great videos, I used to crew on these back in the day, nothing like the L60 engine noise when it's screaming at you in the dark whilst navigating German woodlands. , Hated doing spring packs on them. Keep up the good work lads.
I’m tea enjoying you guys get this beast running again keep on going 👏🏼
Finally had the time to watch part 2, great to watch! 👍 I kinda like the idea about the comment on the ‘natural’ camo. Make it running, let everything work smoothly, but leave the exterior as it is. A bit like the Grill Förster camo or Megatron in TF #3 😉 They will never expect what this beast can do 💪

my grandad was in the 10th Hussars during world war 2. He drove a Matilda and a Sherman towards the end of the war. I'd love to see any rebuilds or works you've done with those tanks if you have them. Haven't checked the channel yet to see if you've done anything with them. If not then that would be cool to see.
came across first video by accident really ,was glad when seen this ,great job, knew you would get it going,I'm interested to know how you both got into this & how did you gain the experience of how to work on these :)
Keep it going boys, she's a good old girl and just needs a bit more of that TLC... It would be a crying shame just to let it rot... Good effort so far...
