One of the life lessons my Dad taught me in 1966 was HOW to put on chains...people are toooo lazy today! No 4 wheel drive needed, just snow driving skills, rear wheel drive, 4 100 lb. bags sand in trunk, snow tires and chains....old school baby!

This video probably saved a couple dozen heart attacks by lowering the watcher's blood pressure. I'll never understand why you don't just change the tires in November. It doesn't cost any more, you save time on summer tires. Instead of buying 4 tires every 2 years, you just buy 8 tires every 4 years...the same money. But the idiots were the same with us until it became law that you have to have winter tires. throughout Austria, not just in the mountains.

hard to believe so many people can run to Walmart for 300$ and get 2 blizzard tires for the front. They last 3 or 4 years and they help in the summer too. I have 2 minivans and both have blizzard2 on the front. The don't slip at all and I stop really nice. 300$ isn't alot for all those newer cars. Come one people. Get some tires 😅

I kind of feel like the city needs to build parking areas for these apartment buildings. I guess they don’t cause they make so much with tickets and towing. I don’t see anywhere to park? Just small areas between the buildings. I am aggravated for the poor folks who have to deal with this crap very year.

I have Many Friends In Alberta Ca. Cool Place . We are From Near Boston Ma. It Gets snow A lot, But seems To Be slowing Down the last few Years, Glad Your Enjoying The Video's. Be Safe Dizzy.

Tow driver doesn’t put on the flashing beacon light until he’s driving away…..don’t want the owner to come out. And are you supposed to tow a 4 wheel drive car only from the front tires? No!

I was stationed in Maine in the early 1970s and they had a parking ban after midnight when it was snowing. We were partying and saw the flashing lights through the windows and went out to investigate. They had my 73 Blazer hooked up by the rear and I asked the tow truck driver if he was going to disconnect the front driveshaft because of the full time wheel drive. He took it off the truck and let me move it off the road. I grew up not far from this place and used to visit family in Uxbridge a lot. Now I live where we have real winters. Going to get down to -30s tonight and 3:feet of snow on the ground.

So many kids in my town got in trouble for pulling one of those fire boxes from the intro!! I'm sure that the fire department was thrilled when they got to disconnect them all! Some of the telephone polls still have the old wiring for the boxes!!

here in Dabury ct they declared one starting at at 6pm and by 645 pm tow trucks were hauling away 4 cars,,,,, geez make friends with a neighbor and bring them a 12 pack for parking in their driveway for a day........also plows plow to the right so park on the left

I don't know about Worcester, but in Boston it is both the city and private contractors. The police goes through each street that has parking ban and make an announcement on the onset of the parking ban effect. Then they will come back and if there is still cars left, they will call the tow truck and register the car. The owner could go to their police precinct to find out the towing company and what lot they towed to.
