Today we are hunting for rare and valuable commemorative coins, we are hunting through a big bag of £250, direct from the Bank!
We are hunting for new coins from the UK to add to our collection of 50p coins.
We are hoping to find all of the Beatrix Potter coins (including Jemima Puddleduck, Peter Rabbit and Flopsy Bunny), all of the Paddington Bear coins, the very rare Olympic coins, including the football 50p (offside rule) and Triathlon and Judo, perhaps one day we might even find a 'lines over the face' Aquatics! We are, of course, also looking for the rarest 50p of them all, the 2009 Kew Gardens 50p Coin.
We also collect coins from the British territories; Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, Falkland Islands, Isle of Man or even St Helena!

When I take my coins back to the post office I use a different postoffice than the one I get mine from I found a Olympic offside rule other day 😊

Big on territory finds this week and a nice Olympic too. As the Kew won’t get easier to find I can only assume the price will stay where it is for a while and possibly increase slightly in the near future. Great stuff LAFTA 👍🏻
I’d say that’s a pretty good hunt they’re nine fines and Olympic being one of them in my opinion the Q Gardens will continue to increase in value and probably end up near $250 for a pristine example over here in the US you never take your hunted coins back to the same bank you got them from or more likely you will not get any more from them the old saying don’t crap where you eat definitely applies to the banks over here with coins excellent hunt in my opinion thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼

An BUNC Kew Gardens is already at £250. A very good circulated one up to £170-180 an average Kew Gardens is about £140-£160 and a poor condition one is maximum £120. They will get more value yet but it'll be very slow and gradual.

It’s £250. I have a business account to enable me to withdraw large amounts. You might get lucky with your bank, no harm in asking!
So do you just go bank and get change in 50 ps and 2£ coins?

I agree that there will be a cashless society because the evil governments and the overlords want control but coins will go up in value because there will be none. I think you are thinking about this wrong.

In my opinion if they do go cashless the coins will become even more collectible since they no longer exist and will be harder to find especially if they do a recall and destroy a lot of them.
