Today we are hunting for rare and valuable commemorative coins, we are hunting through a big bag of £250, direct from the Bank!
We are hunting for new coins from the UK to add to our collection of 50p coins.
We are hoping to find all of the Beatrix Potter coins (including Jemima Puddleduck, Peter Rabbit and Flopsy Bunny), all of the Paddington Bear coins, the very rare Olympic coins, including the football 50p (offside rule) and Triathlon and Judo, perhaps one day we might even find a 'lines over the face' Aquatics! We are, of course, also looking for the rarest 50p of them all, the 2009 Kew Gardens 50p Coin.
We also collect coins from the British territories; Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, Falkland Islands, Isle of Man or even St Helena!

Christopher Collects has had a couple of similar hunts. Very shiny Potters turning up, especially the 2016 Peters. Weird. Fantastic NIFC find, bud. 👍

What a Happy New Year you are having!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I have seen a picture of the 2019 Brexit on a Facebook group. Judging by the people who commented on the post at the time, it seemed to be genuine. I certainly will always be checking the dates!

Hi Lafta, what an excellent find. 🏆👍 With regards to my question, everyone looks at the micro date on the reverse, but wouldn't the obverse have the wrong date as well as ive not heard anyone refer to it as a mule coin. Also only a photo and no video 🤔 definitely not convinced it exists, thank you for getting back to me on it. 👍😁

That’s a heck of a find $30-$40😳 definitely accidentally thrown back by someone… looks like a whole bag of rabbits very shiny to I think your right they may have released some new ones from the vault. A great hunt with a ton of finds 🤩thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼

I reckon there has been a release of the 2016 P 🐰 from the long store as Christopher collects found 8 or 10 in very shiny condition in a recent hunt. Nice Olympic 😊

Congratulations on the 2010 Shield find but if this coin has a 0 mintage figure as it was not intended for circulation why is only valued as £30-£40 when a Kew Gardens is valued in the £100s?

Wow LAFTA what a way to start 2024. An absolutely amazing NIFC find 🥳. A lovely Olympic and Suffragettes find also 😊👌. I've also recently found a few PR 16s , Squirrel Nutkins , Tom Kittens and Jeremy Fishers that look as though they have come out of new sealed bags .

Just 2 days into the New Year and you're already ahead on the NIFC finds! 👏 Was in decent condition too. A couple of other keepers and loads of shiny Rabbits and other Potters 👍

Fantastic start to the new year with plenty of Keepers but the 2010 shield 🛡 is the Plum by miles 😊 Do you check the 2016 Peter Rabbit for the extra whisker I also have a couple with a Ghosting of the Queen's face on the other side of the extra whisker

Going for a couple of quid at the moment. Though I would probably advising holding. They seem pretty scarce at the moment!

From my bank last summer I came across 5 x £10 bags full BUNC Olympic 50ps, was like the lottery win of 50ps I thought at time !! All 50 coins dazzling on garden table, truly could not think how someone could cash such a hoard in, as my bank is not a " change" bank. How much would a full set BUNC Olympic coins sell for you think 🤔, many thanks 👍
