Sometime your Friend or your love one can Betray you too.....and some foe will fight you in Honorable way instead.

I would love to see someone with a background in practical modern martial arts and traditional martial arts look at the forms of styles like ba gua or the animal styles of kung fu and breakdown what is actually useful or ways to make them useful

I agree

Chris seemed to have the confidence of someone who knew what was going on, had he really not known what was going on I believe he would have been alot more concerned about what was going on.

Since we’re supposed to always be all the in or all the way out, would it have been defensively acceptable for Chris to go for a tactical hug??

They were trying to win an Oscar for next year at this one lmao. But yeah he probably did really make contact but it was also an act. I say that for a few reasons. Number one all he did was walk up slap him and walk off, he would have done alot more had he really been that angry. Not even to mention the Main reason being Chris's reaction, I understand the shock concept etc, but to just have virtually no reaction to that situation you have to know it's coming, nobody was rolling around on the ground lol.

And secondly so they would be the only thing anyone talks about today, distracting the enemy (people) and stuff like that.

It could be Fatal if he Punch him instead of slap because the way he swing the slap is similar to sucker punch. I think he want to punch him but Slap to teach chris Rock a Lesson instead but there a Timeline that what if He sucker punch him in Clean hit like slap he did. (Bloody Oscar) He dont think that Will Smith will do that to him that why. If he can Evade the smack it will make Will look more bad than before and Will try to Chase him down on stage to hit him so Chris Rock get smack would be better than Evade it. Evade will make smith more angry and do something more that we dont know on Oscar stage.

I don't think Chris has any training if he had. He would have, he's hands in front, one foot in front, and step back on queue. One example of a few standard moves. My point is Chris"could have", avoid the smack, leaving Will with a failed attempt. Should've, could've. Oh well these things happen.

Will looked pretty pissed after he hit Chris. He’s not that good of an actor to pull that off, imho.
