I lost my father at 14. The Pursuit of Happyness has always been my favorite movie that reminds me of my father and the things he tried to do for me to make ends meet. I had no idea Will lost his father during the making of this movie.

So blessed to have grown up during his era.

His story about skydiving is literally how I explain my skydiving experience. THE MOST frightening part was the plane ride up. As soon as the instructor that was strapped to my back pushed us out of the plane, all the fear and nerves and shakes went away and I felt as if I was here at home in front of my monitor without a care in the world and without a fear in the world.

After I watched this video, it really changed my perspective and I started tackling my own fears, little by little and all of a sudden those fears just faded away more and more. Iv been aggressively facing a ton of fears in my life and slowly expanding my comfort zone. It’s scary and it sucks but I can’t move forward without it. Plus it’s incredibly rewarding experience, there’s no comparison to conquering shit.

His perspective on fear is outstanding and extraordinary.

The Goat The Goat or if you’re just not a narcissist that thinks you’re superior to everyone... who finds hate/negativity out of the simple happiness from others, and is incapable of letting your guard down because you’re truly afraid of not “looking cool”. Which is actually the funniest thing about ppl like you....the fact that you think other people are less intelligent (or less “cool”), so much so that you have to put others down to prove how smart you think you are. Which ironically proves how inferior you actually are by showing how you lack such a basic trait, that the majority possess; empathy. Or simply put (for all of us incompetent folk) “if you’re not an insecure prick” 😘

This is why Will Smith is one of my favorite actors and most real person in Hollywood, always humble, amazing perspective on life, just lifts you up every time I stop and actually listen to his message. Love this dude! 👍

I have been sky diving and Will Smith is correct, those 40 seconds while sky diving was essentially a life changing experience for me. Moving on, the feeling of flight took a firm grasp on me so much I went forward to earn my pilots license. Soaring for hours on end below, above and around the clouds and over magnificent landscapes is for me is the real "meaning of life"...

I feared a break up and I finally did it, thank you, thank your, thank you will you have me the courage.

Thank you for this! Disappointing people is very crippling for me. I’m 26 year old now. And I’ve made some mistakes in the past and in the end result it caused someone I love very much to feel resentment and disappointment and frustration with me. But I’m trying to be my best self in hopes to earn that persons trust back. It’s been hard to give them space and time. But I know that’s the only way to grow and heal. This person deserves nothing but love and due to some past generational issues I didn’t know how to be that 100% for them. At the same time. I knew, I could be that person for her. I just really need to grow a respect and appreciation for that person and myself. I needed a full understandings to why I out of everyone else on this earth deserved such a special kind hearted beautiful person. Hi Will , your take on fear and facing it everyday is profound. Just like good and evil , fear and courage are here to stay. Most times fear pushes you to do things you have never done before. Sky diving causes fear only for a day. But fear of the future or the unknown can cause years of anxiety. Human beings must learn to deal with that. It can be through spirituality or belief or just finding rational solutions. Fear motivated me to jump off a cliff into the Ganges (river) and has also motivated me to fight my routine problems for many years now.
