Love Will Smith. But one of the earlier faves of mine is Pursuit of Happyness, watched a dozen times and still lifts me up. Looking forward to watching Emancipation..seems like a great movie. Good job Matt, Stephen

Thank you guys for having Will on. Very cool of you guys to do and to venture outside of basketball. Will is a good guy and a phenomenal actor. He deserves opportunities like this, with people like you guys. Really appreciate Stephen Jackson not being afraid to speak his opinion, and not let Wills decision tarnish his opinion of him or his legacy.

That was one of my jawns. Classic. And Will, to this day, is literally one of the most underrated MC's when it comes to just flow. Speaking of which...Brand New Funk was my favorite.

Will has always done a good job at selling something. So his interview with Trevor Noah and now with this one, I actually want to see Emancipation. The obvious thought was that this was *just another slave movie* but Will has convinced me that it’s more. Also, I love that Will acknowledged how the music industry has changed with streaming and platinum today means absolutely nothing 😊. (Well it means way *less* in these times).

I met Will Smith backstage at The Joe Louis Arena in the late 80s. I was part of a security team called "The Pit Crew " and Mr Smith was performing in a concert that featured " Run DMC" Public Enemy" and " DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince". Normally we worked in front of the stage to keep over zealous fans from rushing the stage. During Public Enemy set a couple of us had to go backstage because the "stars" were "donating" all of their promoter gifted food to us as a thanks for guarding that stage. Rap and heavy metal fans were very aggressive and often down right violent. When we went backstage to gather the food, Will Smith personally thanked us, shook our hands and joked around for a couple minutes. There was just something different and honest about this 17-18 year old kid. I met many celebrities in that job but that young man struck me as the nicest. One more thing, there seemed to be a whole lot of extremely beautiful women that you never see daily showing up and trying to, successfully sometimes, to get backstage.

Wow. That’s an amazing story. Wish I got to experience that , I’m apart of Gen Z so I got to get hip to the old school music back in the day. That’s why I always say 1 moment doesn’t define someone especially not at that young. Consistently acting 1 way defines you but not 1 bad moment.

I have 1 of his albums so far. I became a fan of Will this yr. Although I did like him as the genie in Aladdin.

Will is an amazing guy. He never disappoints. Big up to All the Smoke for a great conversation. Forget the Oscars they’re boring anyway, you don’t need to be there to win

One of the best interviews for all of them. I learned a lot more about Will through laughing and reminiscing on his entire career beginning from childhood. One topic was not dwelled on, so a lot was touched upon.

I think this is the best episode of the show I have ever seen. Matt & Stak did a phenomenal job in making Will feel comfortable to open up 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Y’all them boys for this one. The fresh prince will never die in our eyes he’s a goat! For the culture 🙏🏽❤

This podcast is by far one of best pod cast I’ve heard. This is real life. We live in a society as men where we are told we are tough as nails but in doing that we fail to be there for our wives and children emotionally and spiritually

Will has an adorable laugh. He looks very good for his age. He doesn't look like he's in his 50s at all. He has no wrinkles or gray hair. Although I have seen him with gray hair before. He is my favorite actor & the best actor & celebrity i've ever been a fan of. He is also very nice & sweet. I've started being a fan of "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" this yr & started watching it this yr. I want to watch this movie "Emancipation." He will do a good job like he always does.
