A question I'll make about this, not taking full blame off Poch but...Is he making team selections and substitutions based on having the wrong players regardless? Is he trying to play circle football because it's the closest he can get to fitting a team of triangles and squares into 1 system to half do a job? Is he doing the best anyone can do because the players brought are either just this level or can't do the job needed regardless? We have soo little data on everything at the club right now I don't know how anyone can pass any judgements on anything other than just trying to change the things that are the quickest and easiest to change.

Nah he has to stay. He needs more time and they’re right we’re not going to change overnight or even in a season. PLUS we’re in an era where we’re now in the rebuild stage. First it was City, then Liverpool, Then Arsenal and now it’s our turn. Sacking managers doesn’t do anything and this is what pisses me off about a lot of other Chelsea fans. The fact that we expect so much from one manager to do everything in a short amount of time with such a young squad and have so many expectation it’s bloody unrealistic. PLUS the fact that we’re so invested with that SM mentality is a bloody joke. What have the fans become is the real question 🤦🏾‍♂️

In all honesty not being reactionary, there is soo much wrong with the club right now (including decisions he has made pre and in game) that right now I think the best course is actually just to calm down and get some stability. It's not going to lead to trophies or pushing massively up the league but just being calm might settle the ship enough next season that we can be in a better position the season after to really know what we're doing going forward and where the true problems lie. Let alone there's not exactly a plethora of top managers I'd say you can guarentee will do any better right now, we can hope and feel like but guarentee definitely not.

@@krishchaudhry2222 Agreed, people focus on the "1b spent, you spent 1b" without realising we spent 1b on a U23 squad all of which haven't played together, most of which haven't even played in the league and the majority haven't played a full season in any European league let alone a top 5 league. So to expect that kind of squad to not be inconsistent and a complete unknown is madness regardless if the badge on the shirt is Chelsea or not.

Based on what the targets have been 7th will keep Poch in with Conference football That looks unlikely though with them needing to pass Newcastle/ United

If we sack Poch now, then no good manager is taking (whether new/establish manager ) job at chelsea for sure.....cuz no body would want to play with their reputation when they initially klnow they gonna be judged unfairly.....!!!!! Give Poch time to implement the best playing XI that exist on paper to field .....!!!Then if he perform bad then it is fair to sack him ....!!!

Poch he is good but the players fail to protect their win about 4 games.They draw in injury time and some silly goals.Even first game with Arsenal and Liverpool there were suppose to win.Playing without a setpiece manager also is trouble.

Potter & Poch are not bad managers, we simply have lesser talented players than the other top6. Jack, Connor, Noni, Mudryk & Badashile are simply not talented.

I'd wouldn't compare Potter to Poch, because Graham never had a pre-season with team, never had a signing that he wanted. He got bloated squad, inherited all the Tuchel problems and was dismissed half way through. At no point was his Chelsea worse than Poch, even though on paper Poch has more experience, as well as more time.

@@LordRacing16 but poch has had different issues ? Potter had a more experienced squad at his disposal. Kante , Kovatic , Felix , Aspi , Havertz . All of them would walk back into this Chelsea team . Poch has had tons of injuries . Colwill , Chilwell , James , Nkunku , LAVIA , Forfana etc Potter was harshly sacked I agree . Chelsea should not make the same mistake with poch. They’ve outplayed most teams they’ve faced this season , the lack of quality all over the pitch is clear . Does anyone honestly thing this team is capable of finishing higher than 7th ?

The new Club World Cup format, I believe is done to improve the hype of the tournament, and make it a valuable trophy. We have a chance to write history despite being out of Europe. I don’t know if pochettino would take us to such a trophy.

Poch has had so much unfortunate luck this season. So many of his best players haven’t been involved. Reese James, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, Ben Chilwell, Romeo Lavia only playing 32 minutes and most of all, his most natural goal scorer, who was superb in preseason, scoring three goals, Christopher Nkunku. Chelsea have dominated so many games but have not taken their chances. If they bring in a top centre forward to partner Nkunku up front and get Fofana back to fitness, it’ll be a totally different story next season. Gusto has been a revelation at right back. There’s some players who need to be moved on, who just aren’t good enough, Broja, Chalobah, Gallagher, Badiashile. Roll on 24/25

Why is Pochettino staying? Why does the coach who doesn't repeat the good lineup he showed us today for tomorrow's game stay? We didn't even show the best eleven line-up! 🥶

The inconsistency is crazy, beating everton 6-0, losing 5-0 to Arsenal, and then almost beating Villa at Villa Park

Well he failed dismally at both Tottenham and PSG, i mean this guy failed to win 1 major trophy. Giving him time will just be a waste of time because even if he was to be given a 10 year contract he will still fail. We just have to accept and he has proven that he's tactically illdisciplined, doesn't have a consistent proven system. Even if the club was to bring in Ohsimen, Kvitsha and all this quality players we are linked with he will still fail to get the best out of them, he's just bang average.
