It's a work. The storm driver he did on Bryan was probably the safest time he's done it. Danielson's selling was brilliant though

Where was the build ? Supposed to be such a big match two of the supposed "best pro wrestlers" and no story nothing to get the fans invested. This is what ppl are talking about about I want aew to succeed but damn this shit like watching my local wrestling.

I dunno - it kind of looked like that entire venue was pretty invested. Based on online reactions it seems like a lot of people were invested. I find it weird that a lot of fans out there need 'story' to get into solid, professional wrestling. Does story add to a match? Sure. Can it make a match that technically maybe isn't that great, amazing? Yeah - of course. We just saw that at WM. Is it necessary if the match itself is entertaining and engaging? I'd say no. But enjoy what you enjoy - and maybe work on trying to understand that others may enjoy something else.✌🏽

@@dunkymak That's exactly why their weekly shows suck but the PPV's are good. That's also the reason they'll never bring in the casual fan. I get it is supposed to be an alternative & it will never be as big as WWE, but if you want to book 10,000 plus seat arenas you have to bring in the casual fan. It boggles my mind why they still book these giant arenas when they can barely fill a quarter of it?

You don't have that many people in attendance and so many online LOVING something if they're not invested.

Will shouldn't retire the Tiger Driver 91/Storm Driver 91 move, but only use it rarely. He performed it perfectly on Danielson, and Danielson landed in the best way possible. It was the effects from taking the move that caused the scare. The ref should've used the 'X' sign right then and there, but didn't. Since the ref didn't, Ospreay was able to land one more Hidden Blade before grabbing the win.

Pretty eerie after Danielson just cut that dying in front of fans/Heaven promo..

Rock dropped I don't even know how many f bombs during his recent run and Kevin Owens just a few weeks ago on smackdown was dragged to the ring bleeding by bloodline. In general the quality of WWE has gone up dramatically under triple h.
