Will Newcastle United win the race for 6th place in the Premier League and with it a spot in the Europa League next season? The Magpies are currently in 6th place, one place ahead of Manchester United and also ahead of Chelsea and West Ham going into the run in. Forget 6th, we're goimg for 5th and it looks very achievable when you look at Spurs run in.

Unfortunately, with City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and West Ham all crashing out of Europe this week, 5th place won't get a CL spot. So 5th or 6th will get Europa, and 7th will get Conference. (Unless Man United wins the FA Cup and throws that wrench into the works.)

@@Robert.Sheard I may be alone in this, but I don't think it's unfortunate. The Europa League would give the squad European experience for the future runs while also having an achievable goal.

Same here, im more worried about chelsea than man u. Cole palmer is on fire right now. This will be a battle between palmer and gordon.

Long shot, but not impossible.
Newcastle have the great combination of a little momentum and form at the right time, and a run of winnable fixtures. Man Utd have the fixtures (bar Arsenal) but not the form. Chelsea have the form but horrible fixtures. I think Newcastle are more than capable of going to Man U and not only getting a draw but winning (with our reserves if we wanted). The problem is they are also capable of losing at home to Sheffield United. Just when we think we have got things sussed, we get a Luton or a Forest to really mess up all our plans. Even going back to the Dortmund home game, we thought everything was going to plan.
I think Chelsea will actually drop points against the lesser teams. Especially Bournemouth
Our away results are awful. We got 4 games away left.

Been ok recently beating Fulham Forest Villa in 3 of the last 5. While Brentford should be safe by then, Burnley are rubbish and even a draw at Old Trafford and maybe a draw against Palace would be decent. Beat Sheffield United and hopefully beat Brighton but a draw might be fine (they mightn't have Europe to play for by them).
Were nicking 5th so Tottenham 6th 😂🎉

It's like being chased by a crocodile, we don't have to win every game, we just have to win more than Man Utd.
