Why is Ruach so cute! His eyes are so adorable. It's gonna be a blast to see him grow up and develop!
I so !! appreciate you showing how you introduced Ruach and Tucker -- especially your anxiety, and how you resolved that. I do not have nearly your experience with horses, but working at a horse rescue I feel the compassion for the horses and the need to let them work it out. And I feel that anxiety, hoping that it DOES work out. Thank you.

Thanks for the video!
Ruach is such a cool name! Very unique. It sounds kinda medieval, which I think is awesome! I agree that it is difficult to watch horses turned out together for the first time. We had a mini horse for a bit and my big gelding at the time literally knocked him over! Eventually though, the mini became the boss over my 16 h.h gelding and our Arab cross!

Isn't that funny how so often the bigger or more dominant one ends up being more submissive? It works like that with all animals!
I really like Ruach as a name. Its a great name for a horse. I wonder what his breed/breeds are. I am a sucker for a bay. He’s so handsome.

Thank you! The woman we got him from guessed that he is a Morgan Percheron cross? I do think there is some draft in there somewhere. And he moves out like a Morgan!
You can run water on the outside of the cups for a few seconds and it makes the popsicle melt a teeny bit so it lets go of the edge of the cup! ♥️
I SO appreciate how honest you are about this introduction. It's a realistic representation, herd dynamics are a huge thing with horses and it takes time. But they already look so much better together! Keep up the good work, really clever thinking. I admire your horsemanship skills :)
awww they are so cute together!!!!! huge fannn

Thank you for sharing your journey with Ruach! It was interesting to see it play out with Tucker and Ruach.
I am so excited! I have been following you for a while now and have been watching this journey from before to where you are now. I was so happy to see you got this beautiful guy. The name is perfect! ❤😍
Apple cutting tip: Cut the apple into quarters then you can cut the core away by just slicing down to remove. It’s easier to just get the core removed and not lose as much edible fruit. You can also use an Apple peeler and slicer. Then you have nice apple slices, core removed, and the apple skin can be fed to other animals, the horses, or used to make horse treats.
@dianat5305

You make a good point! However I cut my apples that way too. I believe the core is still edible for horses. Science has now shown that the seeds are not harmful to humans. But feel free to check out that fun fact 😊

I usually don’t worry about a single core. There are not enough seeds in one core to be harmful to animals.

Who cares about cutting apples?! Sheesh! Whatever makes the person happy. I eat the core anyway myself. I've eaten millions of seeds and I'm just fine.

Soooo glad Tucker accepted Ruach! (LOVE his name) He’s just a baby! And a beautiful one at that! Tucker was just making sure he was still the herd leader! Good to see the relief in momma’s eyes! 💙🐴💙🐴❤️🐴❣️❣️❣️😻
Congratulations on your new baby boy and your successful integration into your little herd! Wishing you all the best! Thanks for sharing with us🎉🎉
I really relate to how much you think and worry about your horses. My heart aches when there are issues just like you. Are we obsessed? Only sometimes. Great work!

You can get a better guesstimate by measuring from the hairline on the hoof to the middle of his knee. However many inches it measures is supposed to correlate to how many hh he will be when full grown.

My horse is a fjord mix . I do cut his mane short it’s so awesome.I love my Pony.I sure learn a lot from you ,thank you.

If Ruach is under a year and already looks like a small horse (proportion wise), you know he's going to get stocky! Horses get usually "stock-up" between 2 and 3 years (previously they grow mainly in height) so... yeah, I'm excited to see him grow. :)
That popsicles are very good, and when you want them out you put them a moment in water. Do you know there is also natural flyspray? You can even make it yourself.😊 I saw on friesian horses yvonne had a spray: you have to boil a handfull cloves in water. I know that vinegear helps also, but don't know if you can spray that on horses, maybe together with the cloves?🤔 I sended your short about this to diferent horsechannels.😊
So glad they’re friends now! Will you make a house tour?
Fancy apple cutting! I used to cut the core out similarly, then put them back together and wrap with cling wrap for my kids’ lunches. Very handy! Best of luck with your herd!

Aw I am glad it worked out. Ruach is still a baby and growing. He will probably be bigger than Tucker. He is a draft cross.
By the way love the back fence and the popsicles were great idea😊
Aww, I’m glad I’m not the only one who has a rather bossy pony. My pony chino always teaches new horses who is boss, even horses bigger than him! 😂 the other day we took him to a Competition with my friend and the first thing he did was squeal at her mare! 😅 who is quite a bit bigger than him! ❤❤
His name is SO cool! I love the biblical inspiration!
I have had to use that eye ointment in three of horse's eyes so I finally figured out an easier way to do it. My horses are more able to deal with my hand near their eye than that little tube and I was wasting a lot because they would move. So I started to put sterile medical gloves on one hand, pulled the index finger tight, and put the needed amount of ointment on my fingertip. Then I just pulled down the bottom lid, and quickly applied the ointment. Then just cupping my hand over the horse's eye for a couple of seconds made sure they close the eye or blink enough to spread the ointment. It may be unorthodox but that tip used to get dirty in my last boarding facility and I was always nervous that they would jerk their head and get hurt by the tip if I didn't move quick enough. BTW, your farm is looking great!
@cattymajiv
10 ай бұрын
That sounds like a FAR better way to do it! A sterile glove on your finger is soft and round, and far cleaner too. So that is just a genius idea! Thank you so much! I will remember that for ALL of my animals.

I wanted that too, so very badly! And I worked SO hard for so many decades! But stuff happened, and I never got any of it. I'm 63 and alone. Do work hard to get it, but know that only the luckiest ones actually do get it. And if you end up being one of them, then you should be ecstatic!
Ruach (unusual name, but I like it!) isn't a baby. He's a youngster who needs to learn his manners. It will be very good for him to be in with Tucker! Also, the popsicles is a cool idea, I oughta give it a try! Edit: Aww, Tucker keeping watch while Ruach sleeps. 💜

Interesting to see. My boy was also cut late, and has sired two foals - He however is always bottom of the herd. With mares, geldings, colts, he’s always bottom, and bullied away from his food.

I hate introducing horses to each other 😩 it makes me so so anxious
Whew, we’re going through the herd introduction phase right now. I know we have to let the horses establish their new pecking order, but seeing the bite and kick marks is so sad. 😩

But your Focus on your own body is a big turn off, and so is you Barbie crap. It's arrogant, immature, and it doesn't send a good message at all. You are trying to target girls and young women. Why not give them more of the truly helpful stuff that this channel gives, instead of a steady stream of narcissistic "Look at me!" crap. Frankly, it's just disgusting.
Why does the horsecicles popcicle look actually good 😯 Tucker is planning a sneak attack😮 that's mean but i hope they'll get along better soon I'm glad there getting slowly better

How have you never learned to use capital letters and periods (or question marks, or exclamation marks, etc) to form sentences?! And what about separating ideas into paragraphs? Sheesh! Nobody wants to read stuff that just runs on. It's a lot of extra work to try to figure out what on earth you are trying to say. So people just won't bother reading it at all!
The colt is limping on his back right leg Tucker got him 😢 poor baby,I would of waited until he was gelded before I put them together
Humans can't enforce physical boundaries to the same magnitude that horses can, but sometimes it's worth watching how horses enforce space. In the past I've observed horses to see where they apply corrections on other horses so I could use the same spots in my workings with the horse in question.
I love the name Ruach
