For people wondering, the poll is on their head between their ears, hock is the back leg knee join and yes barrel is the middle part. What he pointed to for the poll would be around the whither area.

I haven't been able to do riding lessons for the past couple of weeks for health reasons, and I'll have to get a doctor's note if I want to continue riding, but I'm glad I can at least watch you and your husband have fun with horses. Thank you for your videos :D

I can relate, broke my knee from being thrown, my stud went right, as directed, I went left... 2 years later, have to use a 3 step mounting block to mount. Hurts my pride. But cowboy on.

I've never seen someone clean out a horse's hoof so gently. XD It reminds me of when I went to the hair salon and they had the trainee blow dry my hair. (The stylist did all the cut and color, and I didn't want to pay for a blow dry so i was ready to walk out with wet hair, but they said i could get a free blow dry if i was okay with the trainee doing it.) Normally the stylist has a very strong hand when brushing your hair for the dryer. But the trainee had the most timid gentle touch ever. XD Like I could barely feel her at times.

The part where you had Collin point to different areas of the horse was interesting! Would you consider a video explaining / demonstrating parts of the horse? Diagrams are helpful but it’s very helpful to see it demonstrated on an actual horse.

Have you ever taken the time to think about a wild horse in its natural habitat? That when God made the Horse, He gave it all the natural fur and hair necessary to keep it warm and cool in all temperatures. (God did not place a man made blanket over the horse in Winter or shave the horse's hair in Summer.) But you take away the horse’s natural protection to make the horse prettier exposing him to the elements- and putting him at risk of becoming sick and unhealthy. Which is very selfish. The horse doesn’t have hands to brush away horse flies that bite him. (But that is why God gave him a tail and his long haired mane.) but of course you remove that also (I wish someone would tie your hands behind your back and put you in a room with mosquitoes so you could understand what you are doing to your horse - who is at your mercy or stupid whims) You need to start learning more about a horse. And Learn to Think Like a Horse. I have studied some great videos on KZread for 2 years and have never been around a horse very much. But I already know more than you do (and sometimes when my memory is not so good I forget more than you know)
