I clearly remember the cast of Suits sitting quite a way back at the wedding and looking uncomfortable, especially as they were not invited to the evening reception. It was as if Meghan dragged them across the Atlantic to say look at me, look how I’ve moved on from you. Is it any wonder they threw serious shade at The Golden Globes so bravo to them.

And the story goes that they didn't know they WEREN'T invited to the Reception until they arrived, so they had to frantically scramble to find somewhere to eat, because everywhere in Windsor was booked out due to the Wedding. I believe they eventually found a pub with karioki a few hours drive away...

When she says “We don’t have her number.” The interviewer says “Yeah! That’s a good one!” So he was very aware that was a blow off in my opinion.

If SUITS is beneath Meghan, then doing that Clevr coffee ad/ promotion is quite a decline in her acting career. As for, Patrick J. Adams, he is a servile flatterer.

She used to think she was above them, even before Royalty. I watched one interaction between her co actors, they were saying, we were standing outside talking, socializing before the shooting starts, when Meghan arrived , she would be wearing a baseball cap, her head down, trying to hide her face, pretending that she's such a big star, and being chased by photographers, she wouldn't even say hello, afterwards, we would be looking at each other, puzzled, no one was after her.😂😂

I don’t think the cast of Suits want her back - they clearly were cringing when the reporters are asking about her. Maybe the writers permanently removed her character from the spin off show that’s why she didn’t get an invite. When I watched suits - Meghan’s character was forgettable…. I was more interested in Harvey’s and Donna’s relationship and Luis. Rachel was boring

You know, if this was an opportunity God gave me, to marry into a royal family.. I would have been so grateful and content with such a blessing. Learn the families traditions and supporting the monarchy as a whole. Imagine raising your children in the UK and visiting the countrysides. You would have help, all sorts of support to achieve things that you have dreamed of. Imagine all the masculine relationships that her children are missing, Granpa,uncles,cousins- You can never buy or get them back. yes family dynamics are difficult but it's life. You think more of the bigger picture than just yourself. She had such a blessing and she squandered it. I would have done as the soon to be Queen Mary of Denmark; immerse yourself into the country, its people, languages and evolve as a a new person for this season.

I get the impression the ONLY cast member who fawns over Markle is PJA. The rest all seem to detest being asked about her and I find Gabriel Macht can barely hide his disdain. Not surprising - they headlined a show and it’s being rewritten by Hollywood and the media as though they were support cast to the piece of fluff actress who was literally the most disposable of all the characters. My husband and I used to watch Suits in the day, and when she hooked up with Harry, we literally knew her as “the annoying chick from suits who cries a lot”. Side note - PJA had a rep for being just as difficult and several stories re his rudeness to fans during the OG suits era. He comes across as a desperate snake in the grass to me.

That is an interesting idea. Because I thought Ms. Markle stopped playing Rachel after the first 2 seasons and started playing herself. She started advocating -- successfully -- to change Rachel into someone who reflected her desired "good girl" image, very much to Rachel's detriment as a character. And her performance declined drastically, so that Rachel came across as saccharine and narcissistic rather than salty and relatable. I def wouldn't include M in any kind of sequel series for this reason. Even if Rachel still has great potential as a character, Rachel played by Meghan would have to reflect Meghan's desired image, rather than living up to that potential. A different actress, one willing to allow Rachel to be herself, would be the only realistic option. Unless more fans prefer the saccharine Rachel, obviously. But I didn't.

It would be amazing though if they became successful with better stories and a new actress. Another option would be to "kill off" the character of Rachel Zane in an outrageous way, then get a new love interest for the main character, lawyer or not.

The Meg would be reminded that she was only a supporting role as a love interest yet would still have the audacity to wrestle everyone for the microphone.

Because she is not part of the leading role but in their Netflix show she addressed the suits MY SHOW which annoyed the whole casts

In Nov the Suits cast were announced to appear at the ATX Festival in Texas, but Meghan was not invited, equally Meghan was not invited to the Golden Globes, so of course she was 'busy' her talent agency would have LOVED for her to actually have a reason to show up anywhere, not a pap walk selling patches, or a hike to nowhere, or showing up on a 'black' carpet to sit in the industry section as the plus one of her agent.

Security was good enough at the Marriott in Indianapolis but not in Hollywood 🤣.

Gina Torres response's reminded me a lot of Mariah Carey's "I don't know her" when asked about Jennifer Lopez in an interview years ago. 😂

I think she hates Suits because Suits wrote her out…and forced her to rush her plan to come to the UK and meet a rich guy… In her reasoning (where everyone else is always to blame), she probably blames Suits for her ending up with Harry - yes he’s a prince and she’s gained a huge platform, but also I don’t think she truly loves him, and she never ended up with the stellar A-list career she wanted. And of course Harry turned out not to be super-rich. Wealthy, yes, but not the tens of millions she thought he had…and that she deserved… Imho

I think your explanation has been the best so far. Most people report that she was not invited but I think you are right she just could not stand sharing the stage.

The jokes, which most were 100% true, were not written the day before, AND they were not the type of jokes which would make people laugh at themselves with the crowd had they been there. I think Netflix is lying about how many people watch Suits. Trying to make it seem popular to drum up more views. I don't know anyone who has watched it, including me. Have you? besides the one episode? I didn't think so.

You hit it on the head! Migraine was invited as a cast ensemble but declined because she wasn't the star then, and she's not the star now. You didn't mention the wife's face when the interviewer mentioned the "rumor." She about melted her husband's face off! No way she will let 90210 (the bit part not the actual zip code) Migraine around her husband again! 😂😂

Meghan couldn't go to the Golden Globe to be with her Suits cast because it would be too humiliating for her to go back to where she started in acting, especially if her role was written out in the last season when she left it. She couldn't stand to be judged as a failure and a liar by her costars who were bigger stars than she was when she claimed that she was the star of the TV series. Everyone knows the truth. She is too much of a coward to face them.

My Husband and I could only make it through 3 episodes of Suits. We found it to be a very narcissistic, backstabbing show. There were a handful of actors whose acting was superior to the shows content. Needless to say Megan was not one of those actors. When it was revealed at her engagement interview that she was an actress, I had to Google her to find out what she had acted in. To me she was an unknown actress. So when I realized that she was in Suits, it made sense that I had forgotten her. There was only one actor that I remembered from Suits and it wasn't Megan.

I made it through 2 seasons before abandoning it out of boredom. Someone once described it as Melrose Place but set in a law firm. I wouldn't even place it on the same level as LA Law.

8:00 Gina Torres is also known for her role as Zoe on the Joss Whedon tv show “Firefly”, which has a devoted fan base.

She would have jumped at the chance to be there! But she obviously wasn’t welcome!

Brittany, you need to understand that in the industry it’s not a good look to talk bad about other actors, directors, and producers in the industry, especially with a camera in front of you. This is short of criminal activity, that’s different. I’m in the industry, it’s a big unspoken but obvious rule. Everyone talks and you never know who other people know. We are always looking for the next gig. PJA knows not to burn bridges. The IG posts were a bit much, but opportunistic people like him and MM are dime a dozen with actors. I work with them and leave it at that. There are good solid people who are actors as well. Gina Torres had to say something on the spot without throwing her previous and current employers under the bus and creating as little drama/speculation as possible, I think her answer was taken way out of context. PJA did a good job with his answer. Anyone who knows the industry well completely gets why he gave that answer.

Her biggest acting role was in Suits even if she was not the lead role. Looks like it will be her first and last.

Really good points made by the host. The Duchess of Darkness is clearly so deluded that she sees her role as supporting cast in Suits as a step backwards. In the real world its the only thing she has done that has proved remotely successful....and its not as a result of her involvement in any way.

I think Meghan sees the actors on Suits more successful than herself and that’s why she can’t be seen with them. It would be in contradiction to her narrative. Just that simple.

Hmmm... actually, I very respectfully, disagree. 😅 I think that Meghan thinks she is waaay too important to appear on stage *with* an ensemble. I think she believes while she may have been "6th on the call sheet" back in the day... *Today* SHE is the star. Just my opinion. Who knows though. Thankfully we were all *spared to see her on stage all together. 🙏🫡👍🏆✌️

I think anything Patrick or the other Suits cast say about Meghan is because they want to work and will play the game to facilitate all job opportunities. She was 6th on the call sheet and not a lead, and would take over Suits interviews with the leads. I can’t imagine them personally liking her at all.

If there is a Suits reboot I would feel sorry for the other cast members if Meghan was in it. I feel that Megain would consider herself being the only reason there is a Suits reboot so they would not be able to do it without her. (I didn’t watch it the first time around and I don’t care to watch it with the resurge because of Megain. I agree with you that she is not a great actress.) Like you said that she was number 6 or 7 on the call sheets, I am sure she will demand that she be promoted to the lead. Not to mention any other demands of whatever she wants.

'Suits' had a story line that was creative, different and fun in the first season only, imho - after that it was a predictive soap opera! Meghan Markle was a 'walk on' at best -

I love your comment on the need for extra security ; it only exists in her mind, as you rightly say no one gives a crap. I have no idea what she has done to elevate herself from a bit part actress to a Hollywood A lister? Marrying Harry gave her nothing except a phoney title; she could have better spent her time in Britain studying acting at RADA ( Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) but of course that would have meant studying and as we know she sees no need to improve because in her mind ( if nowhere else) she is perfect!

FYI for anyone in Gen X, Gabriel Macht married Jacinda Barrett from the Real World : London. They live in Australia now and she is the working actor in the relationship while he is home w/the kids.

British shows /movies are almost always better than American shows. It seems acting is in the DNA but I would also say the writing, directing and cinematography are superior. I know many who liked suits in its resurgence - I couldn’t get into it.

Oh Britney, you have the same opinion as myself. She is more wooden than the wardrobe in my bedroom !

Way back I remember getting Season1 of Suits from the library. Did not make it through the first episode. It was mediocre. No memory at all of Megsie. The reboot will likely flop. They've been Markled.😂

Same tried watching while MM was newly wed...i think they had them on Hulu, but could not get into the show i started to get bored.

I quite liked Suits. Light but fun. It did wane after a while.

I think her acting was what attracted Harry to her. He probably never had someone flirts with him that much since he seems like the type of guy who cannot keep a relationship. He was her prey and the act she displayed in front of the RF only worked on him.
