I think most of Polish people would be satisfied if we send Justyna who is very well-known singer here. She's been in music industry for about 30 years and represented us at Eurovision in 1995 with song "Sama" which at that time was too ambitious and unusual song. So overall I really like this entry. Even though chorus sounds dated I think there's still enough elements that it feels refreshing and unique. On the top of that she's amazing performer with insane range of voice. I think we could reach quite high place with this one.

I just watched her performance at Eurovision 1995 and she was out of this world 💗 I think she is a great choice but I think I would like a different song. That being said, with this one she can take a great position as well !!

@@Kostis_ESC To be honest I prefer Sama and other her songs than this one. However with Sama she ended only at 18th place so I guess now she's trying really hard to get into Eurovision taste. Even though it sounds a bit dated I still think it's strong entry. If it comes to Jann he still can represent us another year when situation with our broadcaster will be settled and guaranteed budget will be there. For now our broadcaster is under liquidation and all supporting money has been cut so it's quite difficult situation this year.

The vocals are insane! Her previous entry was also vocally super challenging but she pulled it off. I do wish there was something to be able to sing along to more but the performance is amazing and how she is doing this at 51 years old is crazy!

Jann will not take part in the Eurovision pre-selection this year, because he has other plans: on 12 February he starts his European tour, and immediately afterward he will be performing as support at Madison Beer's concerts during her European tour.

If anyone would like to see Justyna's other live performance and listen to her sing live (her voice scale is 4 octaves), I recommend this one: Justyna Steczkowska - Sanktuarium - XV (live - klub Stodoła - 25.05.2012) Justyna is 52 years old and has given birth to 3 children. She is in brilliant physical shape and looks super for her age. Ah those genes !!!! She has always been so lean and shapely. She has never looked any different. Her sisters look so good too.

Jann has a newly released song, Charisma, and a longer song, The Letter, but in February she has a tour in the UK, Germany, and the Czech Republic, and then with Madison, it's practically all over Europe by the end of March, so I don't know if he'll find the time, but it would be nice if he represented Poland. @@ultron374 I don't agree with this opinion, The Letter is a great song, and rock songs haven't been doing well at Eurovision lately, just check out the band that represented Germany last year, took last place, and didn't get to the final of the semi-finals, but Blanca did and it was a joke, the exception was Maneskin and Justyna has a good voice but this song reminds me of Ruslana from Ukraine who won Eurovision in 2004, I think, it's the same vibe

I hope she will represent us it's a really interesting and unusual song so maybe it would reach a high place

Doda's song has a wonderful message, but musically it feels like a standard pop/club song, Witch-er is much more interesting and I love how it has a much darker, edgier vibe

CHORUS: Those are proto-slavic agmas. Words (mantras) of power that connect you to the slavic gods. For example: you keep saying "jarga" if you wish to have money and health. Some kind of slavic spells. Justyna collected all of them and created a song. Real witch queen. :))

Hey man, yes exactly I got these Ruslana vibes too, it's a song very camp, very eurovision, it has Ruslana vibes and a bit of Goa elements too with an epileptic choreo as Chanel, yeah more esc camp you can't. I don't see this being successful outside the esc bubble. The eurofans will love it for sure as for Sofia Coll song, I put these songs in the eurofans pleaser category but in Eurovision you have to please the general audience and these songs are too polarizing to really be successful imo. She is a really great performer though.

On the other hand I think Sofia Coll's song can stand outside of Eurovision too! Anyway... Neither are selected but I think they could both be good additions to the line up! Let's see !

I can't see these songs doing the charts worldwide, I can't see these songs spinned on radios everywhere, I can't see these songs winning eurovision simply. I don't know for Poland but Spain wants to win Eurovision I think so I don't think it's the right choice to do. Look there are some camp songs that has been successful in the contest but after the contest nothing, except in the bubble or in their own country that's all, Keiino, Kaarija, Alessandra, they are esc famous but outside, nobody knows them, in my country for ex, ask to somebody random who is Keiino, he absolutely won't know, ask to somebody who is Loreen, Maneskin, they know. So ok these songs could be relatively successful in the contest but nothing more after I think, not enough mainstream to please to the masses and to explode after the contest in the like of Tattoo, Zitti i Buoni, Arcade, Snap. I don't know if you see what I mean, I'm confused with my english sometimes...😅

@@Kostis_ESC On that I agree, I like when songs make me feel something, and some not really successful songs do that to me too, but the aim of Spain for example is to be the maximum successful to make grew up their festival, to make shine their festival worldwide. Chanel did it with her mainstream song Slomo, Blanca couldn't with her non mainstream song... I called Sofia non mainstream song cause it's an euroclub song totally like Keiino was, 00's dance, but it's not a 2024 mainstream sound at all, I can't see that song being played on a major international radio. Look Nebulossa, Almacor, Marlena have mainstreams songs for ex. I contradict myself cause I'd love to see Maria Pelae in Eurovision with a non mainstream song, however I can see Maria Pelae song being successful like Voilà, it brings this cultural dimension that people love to see without being too polarizing as Eaea was. Why people loved Voilà without even understand a word, because it was culturally beautiful, Remitente is culturally beautiful too. And I will contradict myself again a bit but Voilà being not mainstream has managed to be successful and to survive outside the bubble after the contest and still now young singers in the world in the voice or others shows love this song and sing it... it surprises me however Voilà has not made the charts everywhere etc. So there are multiple way to be successful after the contest in fact.

New pro Putin government illegally took control of Polish national TV and switched off TV for Polish ppl. So I'm not sure what will happened with eurovision in PL this year.😢
