@@janjon You can shoot the ying candela if the magnet catches it before it "detonates" to deny the flashes, since the magnet will reset it to the longest fuse. You can theoretically shoot the candelas while they're rolling to deny the flashes, you just don't ever see it happen.

Sunday Mailbox: What do you think if they change Amaru so she doesn't break the window barricades until she flies through it? The sound effect of the grappel could stay the same so there would be an indication to defenders, but her gadget usage would be much less obvious than the current visual indicator of the barricade breaking. This would reduce the number of deaths that result from defenders aiming at the open window until you fly through.

I disagree with that given the current situation. The battle pass lacked both quantity and quality, except for a few items. In addition, while it is out of Ubi's hands, people currently are playing games more. Finally, the fact that pass doesn't pay for itself like in almost every other game was quite annoying.

@zikkimeister When the counter to an operator is the ban phase, we have a problem. Especially when the operator has an 80% ban rate. The ADS is basically useless, because it would need to be exposed in order to actually destroy the lance, and Kali has 3 lances so one ADS wouldn't be enough and Bandit's whole gadget is stopping people from breaking a wall, so I don't see your point.

@@DeMon_361 No it wouldn't. Bandit's batteries and Kaid's electro claws destroy Kali's lance, so now you have the same counterplay with the lance as you do with any other hard breaching tool.

Thanks for picking my question! I just remember when Ying first came out and had smokes and don’t understand after taking them away (which I think was smart) they bring them right back and make her probably better than before even though we’ve dealt with her for this long

(Similar to armor pack but glasses) These glasses will give defenders a one time immune to a flash however, wardens glasses will remains the same as in the current meta. Giving him his own unique gadget as well as being able to provide his team with utility.

What do you think about a small mechanic is R6 where if a habana or thermite on your team has already placed their charge, but died, you could go over to their body and detonate the charge. It's a small addition but I think it could be cool.

teddydog130 They plan on adding a thermite gadget to make small holes in reinforcements soon. So this won’t be needed. Also it would make getting a pick on a hard breacher less rewarding as a result

I have an idea for a buff to mozzie that I think could make him a lot better, (since he was recently nerfed with removal of the super shorty) this buff would allow him to pick up his drone after they are hacked and then he would be able to throw them like an ordinary attacker drone.

How do you feel about a operator that deploys gadgets that make shooting or footstep noises to attract enemy attention

Do you think ela (with her scorpion) is basically useless do to her crazy recoil making it impossible to get intended headshots?

Dude that might have been there official answer but that’s a load of crap. It’s a straight up lie. Games don’t have to have licenses to display guns because back in 2011 I think they defined them as an art. Which is like saying you’d need a license to say desert eagle in a book. You don’t. Basically no cases have been brought up about copy right infringements pertaining to guns in video games. Ubi is straight up lying. If that’s what they said.

Michael Crawford well when they add new guns they have to apply every available skin for that gun onto that gun, plus new guns will just be an already existing gun just with more recoil or maybe more damage theres no point in adding new guns now

I understood the question about the battle pass and I agree. When you max out the battle pass you should get additional alpha packs for each time you level it up afterwards, whether they should include previous battle pass rewards you may have missed or stuff already in the game idk.

In Destiny 2 the season pass/battlepass system works by giving you an engram every 5 levels. Siege could do something similar with alpha packs.

What if when you rolled a candella thru a mute jammer it disabled it. This would make it still be able to burn an ads but if there's no ads the candella just wouldn't detonate. Just a thought.

Thoughts on a defender who could place mirrors on walls to see and create new angles. Could be destroyed by grenades/ sledge etc and could be used by attackers as well.

There are plenty of ways to balance ying, however most of them might require more work than simply removing a candela. Maybe clashes' shield blocks flashes, or maybe wardens glasses become a passive ability that still has to recharge when they come into effect, or maybe even smoke's gas grenades becoming better at blocking sight lines and so they prevent the rush entirely? I'm sorta spitballing here so I'd like a little feedback.

Sunday mailbox: how do you feel about kali getting frags. It gets annoying when putting the enemy in the injure stage but you can’t finish them off because there is another enemy in the area or the injure enemy is behind and structure

Imo for the battle pass if after the level 35 they give the ingame currency for grinding. So people don't have to grind since nothing unique comes but people that want to grind to say buy ops or alpha packs can but it won't impact people that want unique equipment

That transition at 1:32 was on point.

With Wamai and Jaeger filling the same role in terms of gadgets, I could see Jaeger being more of a lock down type, defend one or two areas. With that idea, Ubi could reduce Jaeger to 2xADS but with more charges to more strongly fortify those 2 areas. Wamai would fill the role of covering other spots like preventing Ash breaches on castles or throwing off small things scattered around the map.

SundayMailbox: what if warden’s glasses were buffed like glaz where if he moves his gadget still works, for example moving with the least charge has smoke become pretty opaque and standing still is the same where it just seems non existent. Wardens gadget is pretty much like what happened to glaz and his highlight yet he was buffed for being to weak, yet warden is still the same.

What do you guys think about making warden kinda like rook? He would drop a little box with another two glasses for two allies. I Think it would make him viable and prevent ying from going crazy.
