minää joku he is a counter to Ying, no one else but him is immune to flashes. And if attackers drone out it adds more caution to how people play Ying. Instead of just always having to just throw the candelas and just having easy kills now she has to think about where warden is when she throws the gadget or focus on him when she flashes a room.

How about make him be able to pick up nade and throw it back.

make his gadget function like Jackal’s: it can stay on indefinitely but if he’s shot, it blurs and goes static. you can buff his MPX by saying he has a caliber conversion to either 10mm or .40 S&W. done.

I think this is a great idea for a change to his gadget. However, I don't think his guns need to be changed. Maybe instead make him a 3 speed 1 armor.

I'd be fine with keeping the same weapons and just making his ability always active. I feel like that would be an ok balance but we wouldn't know unless we got to try it. Just make it happen in test server and see how it plays out

What about the P10Roni or Commando9? They would be actual buffs...

Buff Warden: His earphones block Zofia, Ela, and Echos sound effects. Make them special. Give him the PDW9 without acog. Frag grenades non cookable with a 3 seconds fuse time. Smoke grenades get 1 meter more range.

In my opinion, the game needs more unique interactions between operators/gadgets, like how Ela/Zofia are affected by each other gadgets less. What do you think of Oryx taking no damage while running through a wall with rook armor on, but the armor breaking?

That would be a way to buff rook. But i think ubisoft is trying to get away from those unique interactions because they make the game more complicated to even veteran players. I think that's why dokabi can now call echo and pick up his phone. It makes the game seem more reliable and easy to learn.

Warden Buff: His ability to don't get flashed is now a passive, you don't need to activate the glasses for it, only to see through smoke. Maybe: Give him the P90, with a new clear sight. Somewhat like the russian red dot.

8:18 you can already choose to uninstall the single player and spec ops part of the game been able to do that since release

If you have warden glasses active then it reduces the effect of the flash and breaks after it is used for a specific amount of time along with the original suggested change here. It wouldn't break after a single flash, but after like 3 seconds or whatever of usage and doesn't remove the effect, just makes it less bright.

Giving warden a pack of glasses that don’t outright nullify flashes, but will make your vision refresh faster is flashed. (like how ela and zofia quickly refresh from their own mines) that would make warden better

They already allow you to pick which file you wanna dl for mw, i have jus the multiplayer an warzone installed an works jus fine.

for the modern warfare size part, you can specifically choose which part of cod you want to install, but the base game with no gamemodes is still like 90 gigs

When the teammates get the glasses, have it be another gadget ability where they can activate the glasses for a specific ammount of time, and then they break. That can be long enough to counter three flashes, or 3 yings.

just give him p90 and don't make him stand still to see through smoke ffs

and still 150gb of game and with 118gb space remaining I wasn't able to download a patch of 15gb

I talked about this with my friends, they think if implemented properly could work. What if they allowed warden to see attacker gadgets within 12 or so meters. The distance could be changed, what are your thoughts on this?

What do u think of an option where the knife button is both bumpers at the same time. This would free the analog sticks so console could lean from the hip. Additionally is would atop console players from knifing when they try leaning right

What if instead of just giving them one flash immunity you had 2 charges that reset every time they were FULLY used and 1 charge could protect from multiple flashes instead of just saying that we should stop 1

Question for Sunday mailbox: Since Goyo has a really low pickrate what would you think if the regular deployable shields were changed back to how they used to be but Goyo’s shields stay with the window slits.

But that’s just nerfing deployable shields for no reason. If ubi wanted to buff goyo they should make his shields more potent (larger radius, more damage, etc)

Maybe when Warden was 3 armor that weapon wasn't the best for him but now, boy oh boy that thing is fun as hell. Maybe give him an acog or sumn but don't remove the Mpx.

What you were talking about, with warzone, already exists. The first thing you install is warzone. Then, you choose what packs to download so you can choose multiplayer and campaign without spec ops

Make his flash deterrence passive like yings and him being able to see through smokes his primary ability

Give him the 416-c and fix the smg-12's recoil

Give warden smokes and allow him to constantly see through smokes like glaz

and for the LTE i think you can implement certain parts of floors in maps to be like the LTE

As far as the game size, i’m on PS4 and when you download it it lets you download separate parts of the game, for example I only have Warzone and multiplayer downloaded so it only takes 120 GB, if you download the entire game it takes up close to 200 GB

warzone size wise i mean you've got 1Tb storage without externals. I've never had an issue with space and have a lot of games on my Xbox one without any external drives.

Make warden a 3 speed, make it so he can still see through smoke while moving. Or how about he doesn’t pass glasses to the entire team just maybe to one or 2 people keep in mind as a attacker you would be able to clearly see the pair of glasses on the defenders

I like that idea but how would it work for operators with masks?

I like the Warden placing glasses idea, but I think it would be interesting if you were resistant to flashes when equipped, but they break when hit by a bullet

his glasses shouldn’t have a cool down for flashes, they should just always be active for the flashes but have to be activated to counter smokes. and if he gets shot at they get static-y like jackal’s goggles.

Hey Matt, what do you think of an operator that can throw a device at a hatch that has already been destroyed to covef it back up, it wouldn't make it impossible to get through, just like a castle barricade it can be destroyed by soft breachers or being hit, if you were on your own it would make it easier as you wouldn't have to watch as many angles

I wanna see more questions like that last one, very intuitive. But I think these reworked maps are being put into place to work for newer operators.

Mat, what you were saying about console players picking what aspects of Modern Warfare to download in order to save space already exists. To play certain modes like campaign, mp, spec ops, and warzone, you have to download specific file packs first to get that content. My game is only like 120 GB bc I didn’t download campaign or spec ops👍🏽

I think a new operator based on sensory abilities would be cool idea like a sub sonic sound gun that deafens others or mess with gadets. Also a operator that has a blinding flood light so if you open up a reinforced wall say in garage you can’t see inside because the light is so bright and maybe the two can counter each other

Could give warden some gadget like jagers that automatically grants immunity to flash grenades if you're within a certain distance of it maybe even the ability to see through smoke

Since there is so much defender utility what do you think about an attacker that can reinforce? He has a device similar to hibana and when he deploys it, it makes the soft wall indestructible. It would make a good alternative to montagne and planting the defuser etc.

What do you think about an operator that can throw reinforcements. I feel like there are many objectives that have rooftop hatches that would be hard to counter and it would be nice to control those areas better. Maybe if thrown on regular wall it only covers half a wall.

Make it so warden is the only one who can active the device on everyone who picked up the glasses, he’ll be the only one who goes through the animation. And when warden dies the glasses can’t be activated. Making it worth while for warden to still be alive for the whole round.

I have 2TB of storage between my external and internal hard drive on my Xbox so idk if it’s a console problem.

I think that letting warden give glasses to the other operators but the glasses can be seen through smokes. Allow the glasses to see through smoke after standing still. The effects of the glasses should go down as the round continues

Idk about ps4 but on xbox you can delete the campaign pack, special ops packs or the multiplayer. You dont have to keep those downloaded.

warden could hand out glasses and the only time they activate is when warden activates his, so it gives incentives to keep him alive while also requiring team work in order for it to be effective.

I have an idea for a buff to mozzie that I think could make him a lot better, (since he was recently nerfed with removal of the super shorty) this buff would allow him to pick up his drone after they are hacked and then he would be able to throw them like an ordinary attacker drone.

How about warden becomes like a finka type of operator where he activates the glasses for the team for a certain amount of time a couple times a round

What would you think of a change to Rook where teammates would automatically load into the round with armor equipped? Sometimes, teammates forget to grab armor and set up for spawn peeks across the map diminishing the value of Rook.

What do you think about the idea of warden getting a tactical flashlight. The flashlight would be attached to your gun giving you three flashes. Working kinda like blitz shield but 1/4 as intrusive. The flash is more a stun and to stop plants and rushes after utility dumps ie flashes grenades and such.

What if there was a defensive trap operator who could place a device that, when detected by an attacker, creates a high pitch sound? This would be similar to a flash bang but without the flash and longer loss of hearing.

Make warden's glasses a droppable, and then make their ability be to reduce the amount of time to recover from flashes, and keep his glasses the same. That's be a cool and interesting change that would be pretty fair.

with warden what is he just deploys a dome like structure and when inside the dome you don't get flashed and can see through smoke

How about warden is able to give out 4 pairs of glasses but they act as a passive ability and only reduce the flash effect so it doesn’t last as long and defenders can partially see through smoke when standing still. I feel this will provide enough utility to make him a viable operator choice
