Will it START? Old Dump Truck SITTING for YEARS Completely Overtaken by NATURE!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video, I see if I can get this old UD Turbo Diesel Tip Truck or Dump Truck running after it has been sitting for so many years it has sunk into the ground and become completely overtaken by nature. UD Trucks are a wing of Nissan Trucks in Australia, and I estimate this would be a mid 1980’s built Truck. It’s fitted with a large turbo diesel engine and a road ranger style gearbox. The truck is full of spider webs and when I opened the door on my initial inspection, two massive spiders ran out to greet me. Wish me luck on This will it start video, I’m going to need it! Thanks for watching, Bruce.

Hi Bruce and Mr Cameraman, you guys are amazing, the old machines you get going never ceases to entertain me. These old Japanese trucks were built to last, and the engines, although large, weren't endowed with power commensurate with their size. The fact that it started straight away didn't surprise me, before I retired, I drove Japanese trucks for 10years and they were very reliable. Regarding getting the UD out of it's resting place, I think after starting like that, it wants to get going again and I think it deserves a chance at life again!
