Hello to everyone at Hamiltonville Farm from Tasmania, Australia.....started watching "will it start" videos and came across your videos, and haven't stopped watching them since, when you and Wiley and the rest of the team are together doing what you all do to get the old machines started is absolutely entertaining, I've learnt alot from just watching, even got my stepdad into watching them as well...Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming...the channel is a credit to you all..

Those old CH Macks were great trucks. I rode in a lot of them with my dad when I was a kid. That motor is most likely a Mack E7 350. Sounds really healthy too!

& back in the late 60's & into the 70's the Gold Dog was a sign that the truck had a maxidyne engine under the hood .like Gary mentioned , The Gold dog means now days it's a 100% purebred Bulldog . The English back in WWI called the Mack AC model Bulldogs because of how the front of the AC model reminded them of an English bulldog . The nickname stuck . Mack

No more messing about with line anymore and it tangling up and not spooling! Blade bush whackers are the way to go. Been watching for several years and the various projects to will it start. You& Wiley are a great inspiration to all showing that determination pays off in the end sometimes things dont go to plan but a positive attitude wins the day. When I was a kid, Overnight trucking had a bunch of MB (trash truck cab) Mack tractors they hauled freight with and they had air starters. I remember watching the drivers and when someone would walk by they'd WHIZ them starters and scare folks half to death! And that's a good old truck. I drove a C-model or 2 but mostly DM's with mixers and RD dumps and road tractors but the Superliner with the E-9 and the 12 speed was KING! And if I ever need any more Crescent wrenches I'll be sure you get a cut off them. Happy 4th to all and Good Evening and listen to Gina and Wiley! GBWYall!

@@HamiltonvilleFarm I'm in UK and no truck could get to 1 million miles due to driving on our twisty, overcrowded roads putting suc stress on everything. Also most trucker lease for 3 years so no incentive to do more than basic maintenance. Then the trucks get shipped to Africa. If tomorrow morning is sunny I'm off to the junction where trucks go to and from two different ports and should get a video of the most common makes- DAF, Volvo, Scania, MAN, Mercedes. Renault seem a bit scarce this last few years. Only UK trucks now are Dennis household garbage bin emptying.
Wow Hank that's a perfect truck for a small farm like mine! Id be interested if I didn't have my old Pete dumper. haha Someone will pick it up for sure! God Bless!

Good video Hank & Wiley. Looks like a E7-300 or E7-350 Mack engine under the hood of the CH613 .. I know with the R , DM & R models if we had a starter go out and we couldn't get the truck in the shop fast enough due to a job that we had to finish we would put air to the tanks ( we had valve stems in the tank to connect an air hose ) Release the parking brake & pull start our Bulldogs . Those old Macks are hard to k*ll . Mack

Thanks for another great video Hank and Wiley. It was interesting and enjoyable for sure. Congratulations. You two got another one running. Great just great. And it moves and the box and tarp work. Pretty darn good I think. That old Mack just needed a little attention and off it was running. These old Mack’s are as hard as iron. Not too bad an old truck. Thanks for taking us along on this one. You all did good. Wish there was a way around having to carry those batteries. Did you ever think about running down one of these starting karts. I have seen those before and they work good. You might be able to find one on one of these seller channels. Would prevent you from carrying batteries. Just a suggestion. Just saying. About it I guess. You both take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything Wiley and Hank. You troops are the best. Thanks The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
