I know the feeling Greg I have 4 projects that need a ton of work and just have no money right now to work on them the 04 2500 Cummins I bought ended up costing me way more then expected right away because it needed a rebuild within 2 months of me owning it 😢 but hopefully I'll get that back soon so I have a pickup again

that engine is a 225 c.i.d. with solid lifters, I use to have back in mid sixty's a dodge lancer 225, 3 speed, was a great engine, the block was aluminum .the crank only had 4 main bearings.

I think your supposed to put rec gas cause i did it in my truck and it sat for months but got the starting fluid and she cracked right over

That blows your selling it. Starter for a 2000 5.2 or 5.9 ram will work just fine for it
