just watched again , f'kin hilarious about the smoke, fumes and ether!
Rant against wimps? Check Talking shit? Check Glorious old Matador? Check Smoke to piss off greta and the tree huggers? Double check 10/10, would definitely watch again 😂
Love the vid I'm 13 years old and I think more people my age need to appreciate these lovely old machines and get their hands dirty. you should have got the head of the matador skimmed ported and flowed 🤣

Somebody give this kid a prize. Getting your hands dirty, problem solving and spending time with your buddies fixing stuff will be some of the best times in your life.

You will go far with this kind of attitude. I was hand porting mini cylinder heads at your age. I wish I'd kept at it, but became to busy working on injection mould tooling and then started my own business. I'm hoping to get back to it in the next few years.

I know it won't work on a diesel (it was just a joke)
Just love your blunt message to the elf and safety police, absolutely priceless 😂😂😂
Mucker. That was the best "safe space" rant I've hurd in a long time. Absolutely spot on 👍👍👍👍
Nice to see it running!

It wasn't straight forward Wes but it was great to hear it start ! Apparently Jake Paul rebuilt one using old Briggs and Stratton parts...
At last, a channel for grown ups! Long Live King Muck 🤴
I subbed as soon as you finished your intro that was after choking on my coffee pissing myself and wiping the tears from my eyes.. Could not have said it any better myself. Then replaying the intro with the bit "sucking your thumb and shove the other up your arse watching Disney channel in your safe space" was a LEGEND comment. Respect and Nuff said Steve Bristol
Always loved AEC vehicles. Always wanted to see an AEC enginge, such as the AV 470 or AV 590 outside the vehicle turn over, fire up and rev up just for the sheer hell of it. They were great in buses and trucks. Nice little video.
😂Excellent rant right off the top! No re-gret(a)s😉
Sir you are a very amusing chap cannot get over the comments you made in your last video regarding emissions, free trade tea & monkeys made me laugh please keep doing the videos I have learnt a lot from them & regarding your dog rescue we need more people like you, as the saying goes "the more I see of man the more I love my dog" good luck to you
The Human exhaust is more likely kill somebody before the engine exhaust

I love the first 1 minute 45 seconds 😂😂😂 fair play lord muck 👍
OMG that is the BEST response I've EVER seen on KZread against people with there own opinions !! FANTASTIC !!!!
Brilliant opening monologue! 👏
Thank you for your rant at the beginning of the video.. could not of said it any better..
I just love how you deal with negative comments! Cracks me up well done 👍 and I'm loving how your doing up these old trucks
Just found your channel. It's addictive. Nice one keep the video's coming!
Great opening comments sir!!! I give you a big salute for those LOL! Excellent video, bet it was fun driving that rig through the country, I get the feeling you really enjoyed making this vid, Thanks!!!
You guts have so much talent great to see you both bring great british engineering and history back to life with humour and passion.
Nothing wrong with a bit of smoke. We drove a truck 400km getting about 10 km per liter of oil the army would have wished for the smoke screen we made. Loved the comment about snow flakes.
I just love your opening comments on the health n safety guys, totally agree with you.
A neighbour had a Matador, he called it a timber truck, I remember it had the mother of all winches on it. Glad you got it running.
When I worked on the building sites, we used to get picked up in a Sherpa - I HATE those bloody things. It's like putting wheels on a washing machine !
Excellent video, glad you’re keeping Greta happy, keep up the good work cheers terry 👍🚜
Fantastic project someone has made a nice stand for the engine
I was just about to suggest that you not bother to address your critics, but then I watched how you did it. Bloody love it. Top class. Well done. This is my first time watching your channel and I instantly became a fan. Far too many channels are pandering to their own comments section, it needs to stop really. Giving those armchair "experts" time is just contributing to the problem. They are best ignored. Or, as you did, told to F___ OFF in no uncertain terms. Brilliant.

Love the cheach out of the big matador engine, great to see life being given back to those loyal old units
..Great rant.. I loved it..
Love the enthusiasm and the skills bringing an old engine back to life. Also like the way the guys talk to you and not at you!. Need a fifty something apprentice?. 🙂

I think a lot of it is because we WANT to do it rather than HAVE to do it. We might do a couple of 'open days' for folk to join in.
I just saw the picture of grumpy Thunberg ! Brilliant.
I’ll say it for you...........’Run the titles’!!!! Great as usual 👌🏻
I've got two LDV Convoy,400,Sherpas i used to move myself to Sweden with, both with the Peugeot engines in,one turbo, one non turbo, good old busses, always start and chug along forever.
Bloody hell, thought I had a Dads Army video on by mistake right at the start😯👍
Great to see it running and also good to see you test driving the matador. Fills the lane up doesn’t she 👍. Brill video thank you
This is the first of your videos that I've seen, and I subscribed as soon as you had finished your introduction - can't wait to see more 😀
Love the smell of old diesel engine exhaust smoke.
Couldn't have put it better myself.. Great intro and as always great informative video.. 👍
Best bit your rant at the beginning Mucker I was in stiches👍
Awesome vid lm love the little rant at the start 😂😂😂
Like your comment about the people that were complaining about the fumes. Seems like everyone has an opinion. Like the videos, funny commentary, Thanks for the laughs.
Loved vid especially the intro. Your channel, your rules.
What a skilled ol' boy, great there's folk like you lads keeping these machines alive by making new bits. Matt's shed looks like a cracking place too!
I love your attitude...very refreshing.
Love it! Go to your safe space! LOL!
Great vid mate nice to see the old engine up and running again. Like the rant at begining of vid you say it so well ha ha
bloody go one fellow mucker
That Formula 1 bore gauge would make some good merch for your store !!!
AEC powered F1 car.... Got to be a winner!
Damm it man, now I have to clean my phone after spitting Coca-Cola all over it from the 'Of course he's. F ing a farmer' clip. Nice little drive in that truck.👌👌
Bang on Gents! Just found your channel this evening. Mainly because I want a mat timber tractor, much to the wife’s dismay. Although she also ended up watching, laughed and said “I like him”. You may have just fought me corner for me!!!
Nice video and beautiful engine.
I loved the ranting from the start😂 that cheered me up after a shit day!! What a fucking treat!!! MINT 👌👌👌
Another really good video, looking forward to the next video,
Hi it was great seeing you driving the Matador. It gave me goosebumps when you got that engine running. I was towed back from Wellingborough to Goudhurst ib Kent. That took nearly 8 hours todo.
Love your direct honesty, great to see her running 👍
Mucker that was fantastic to see you driving the matador it is over 30 years since i drove one with a winch and jib on
Great stuff, you guys are doing a wonderful job!
Very well said. The fumes surely add to and enhance the historic atmosphere. Great video, shame about the grumpy Thunbergers.
Worked on Brill Coaches which had an AEC horizontally mounted engine under the bus. What a job creator they were. The stunk bad and had no power. Liking your vids from Alberta Canada
Love the rant at the start, you tell em mate, good one.👍
Real nice to see that engine burst into life,......
Nice to see these old engines back up and running . Weather getting better ,so time the restart the projects , starting with the JCB 2D . keep up the good work .
Thanks for the video, at least you finally got that engine figured out and it runs nice, I got a 1060 Nuffeild engine here for a customer, It ran nice for some reason but it's a mess inside ! I really hate that when guys have been in some thing screwing settings up. Belarus's are a good one when it don't work, so they mess with stuff and make it worse if there is a such a thing on them lol. Then you get to fix 2 problems "the original one that stopped it and the new one they created thats now hidden the first issue". The best guys are the ones that then try to tell you how to fix it. There has been more than one told, well you didn't "f" it up just to call me out to see if I knew how to fix it did you. They don't generally stand round long watching or voicing opinions after that comment !. No questions here, I'm sure you'll get plenty of interesting ones ! Take care.
Smashing, found a new home! My Dad drove these and Queen Mary's. Regards..
Let the grownups play. Love it
Well done lads
Topman, good video, we used to look after two old matadors used on forestry work 30 years ago a great bit of kit. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting video, loved the rant at the start 👍😂
Rant basically sums up what is wrong our world right now great video
Loved the eulogy to the twats, you don't need cosby juice with those farts. Driving the matador reminded me of my early days as a retained fireman driving Dennis f26 with rolls Royce 8cylinder petrol the whine in the cab couldn't hear a thing but engine.
I like what you tolled them guys to do with there thumbs.great job thanks
It's Lord Muck!......does the sun rise????? Be well and stay safe.
Great video Lord Muck nice to see the engine running.
Thoroughly enjoyed that, and looking forward to the rest of the Matador series. Thank you.

Great video again 👍👍
I had to rewatch the beginning 3 times it was epic😁
Awesome! Love seeing stuff like this put back into working condition.
Proper engineering at its best thank you very much Lord muck
Love it......sound like a squaddie of my era.....we would say "fuck off over there and when you've finished fucking off over there, fuck off back here and then fuck off again and keep on doing it.
Epic ride in the Matador. Loved it!
Love your rant at the start 😂 yet another great vid mate 👍
As usual I'm behind love what you're doing to save these lovely old vehicles as a young fella was given for Christmas said matador six wheeler and field gun as a result always had a soft spot for them keep up the hard work it is worth it
You alway seem to impress me Muck with your video content budd. Keep up the fantastic work 💪👷👏👍👌🙌
Brilliant, some sound advice given at the beginning to the "Safety Police". Great Video looking forward to next on.
Question: What has been your career path from where you started up to where you are now? You seem a very talented man 👍👌
8:59 love that gauge panel, 3 gauges are all anybody really needs. Making obsolete parts for people's restorations is the fun part of my job. Last one was putting a Grey Marine cylinder head back together that was broke like a China plate.
Excellent work and result!
Brilliant early rant , well said 👏
