Had a little boo boo moment lol but hey I owned it and it runs. Just gotta go over the carburetor a little more to see why the throttle blades are sticking.

I love them all but yup your right, Farmalls are my favorite! Merry Christmas!
Make sure your notch for lining the carb up to the governor tube is in the correct spot, I've messed with plenty of Hs and Ms and misaligned that slot

Yeah I checked that first and it was in but Im gonna pull the carb back off and look at everything closer, thanks for the info!
Sounds like the governor is stuck! Edit.. Sorry didnt watch the video all the way thru. it sounds like the plates are stuck. Nice tractor, very strait sheet metal. Definatley an early H.

It was a little bur on the throttle blade. It runs perfect now!
There is an idle screw back it out. The one you didn't adjust. If that don't do it. Take the carb off make sure the plate moves. Make sure the (governor side)notch on the shaft . Goes between the 2 notches of the throttle shaft in the carb. Carb settings 1 turn air screw 2.5 load screw (bottom)

@@bourbonbeertractorsandprep9335 Wonder where? They got the front hubs. That the welded to the rims. I know they didn't come from the factory like that. Find you a tractor that needs a engine. An stuff a v8 in.

@@raymondbuterbaugh3117 they were originally steel wheels that back in the day some companies and dealers would weld on the new rim to be able to mount a rubber tire. Na no V8 in this one, at least not yet lol

@@bourbonbeertractorsandprep9335 I forgot about the steel ones. You don't see them much anymore. I am sure you could pick up regular hubs and rims if you wanted. Most of the time they go cheap.

@@raymondbuterbaugh3117 he gave me another front pedestal with rims when I bought it.
How did you get it back 180? Take the mag off, find spark on 1. Then find TDC on cylinder 1.. and try to align the best?

No I just jumped the wires around making number 1 where number 4 was. Ill set it back when I tear it down for the restoration.

@@bourbonbeertractorsandprep9335 So, you just instead looked for which cylinder was currently at TDC and where your rotor was pointing and adjusted plug wires accordingly. I’m currently in the proecess of resurrecting an H and I’ve done a ton, similar to you, and I think timing is out. Getting tips on that, thank you

@Derrick Mazur yup exactly! Once I bumped it to tdc I looked at where the rotor was pointing then just jumped the wires around.
