Nice firewood stack. French doors/windows l like that. The original door is terrific. Geez! What did they do to the fireplace. New windows and floors, yes. Did the same as you in a tiny hamlet near Brantome in the 90s with my parents. Good luck. Watch out for dodgy builders, ESPECIALLY Brits! We renovated it had it 8 years sold it 1999. I still visit the area with my caravan even now. Good luck.
