Good intro : Honey I'm home ! I loved the Cutlass Supreme 2 door coupe. Look for all the leaks after sitting for 16 years. Change out the hoses, all the fluids, oils and filters. Radiator leaking potentially. Brake lines and calipers leaking. Thats been my experience with a car sitting for a decade or two. They rot / rust out sitting.

Why in the world would you want to replace that engine? First of all it sounds great and it's the OG of the car. This car is totally OG and its a beautiful looking car and it be worth more to a collector as an OG. Please no alterations. With the V8 you want to put in there might increase the horsepower but not by much. You were lucky to find this car so please don't mess it up.

I miss my 1984 Buick Regal and I'm so upset with myself for letting it go because the person that I let have it took it straight to the salvage yard...If you're planning on keeping the engine that's in it, make sure that it has good oil pressure cause that's what took my Buick out. They have an external oil pump and they're so easy to change and they don't cost alot...The engine that was in mine got really good gas mileage cause I kept everything up except for the oil pump but other than that, I drove the car 10 years before the oil pump went out. It's always good to have an oil pressure gauge instead of a light because they don't always warn you until it's to late. I've had several of those car's and most of em let me know when they's a quart low on oil instead of not pumpin oil at all lol
